Well, mine are. And I'm sorta proud to say that I've illegally downloaded most of them.

I'm not 100% sure on what you mean by that. Do you mean that have I got every single track from each individual album that an artist has created? Or have I completed my music collection?
The answer to both of those would be no. I don't like every single song by every artist on every album they make, so I wouldn't download or by the whole thing if I only liked one song. That would just annoy me if it came on shuffle. Also, my music collection is no-where near complete as new music is created all the time, so my collection will never be complete for as long as I live.

I second what Cassie said pretty much. I do not illegally download anything. Buying music supports the artists. I love music and I'm always adding to my collection. I also sometimes only like one or two songs by an artist and don't want the rest of their music. I do always try to preview albums before I buy them unless I know that I like the artist to begin with.

I do agree with what Cassette said. And I do download music off the internet AS WELL AS buying albums in stores/garage sales.
I have a Vinyl Record player so I buy albums as well as CD's.
There are so many oldies out there XD

I thought I was pretty much the only one that still plays vinyl. :XD I always look at thrift stores and yard/garage sales for albums.

I don't download music; I only ever buy CDs. ...So, yes?
Wow, I'd feel dated if other people in here weren't talking about playing vinyl. CDs are easier for me to store and play than records, but I like having the physical collection, the covers, and the knowledge that if/when my computer crashes I still have all my music, so I prefer them to downloading.

I have full albums of artists I enjoy. My favorite artists. Artists who appeared to actually care to create something worthwhile. I will not buy party music from LMFAO and Solja Boy, dirty music from Waka Flaka, Lil Wayne, or any of those, nor will I buy crap music from Taio Cruz or Jay Cenderulo or Kesha and all them. The "artists" who keep talking about the same thing, things that don't uplift anyone, "musicians" who seem only to be in it for the money and celebrity.
I'm pretty sure they're only the cash cows anyway and most of that money is going to the big wigs who signed them, who I don't appreciate either.
But I own just about all albums of my favorite artists that create with a purpose.

Unless it's indie, buying music does not really support the artist. It supports the record company that produces the artist. I illegally download a lot of the music I own.
And I do like to have whole records. With most of the artists I listen to, I enjoy all of their songs, not just a couple.
