yannie-poo and hummy set off to do the weekend from their lovely cabin in the woods.

we love to sit in front of the fireplace and read our Victoria's Secret catalog.
yannie-poo likes to have visuals to go with his basket of frillies!


yannie-poo usually goes for the angel wings.....:love::insane::love:.....she was just so HAWT!
*wipes up yannie-poo's drool*
since yannie-poo is a big fan of Captian James T. Kirk,
well his one-liners and hitting on all the ladies, anyway!
we are going to use the teleportation device of the Enterprise!
this way we can do more places this weekend.

we will be using the teleportation device to go to two of hummy's favorite places in the world.
using normal transportion to view the beauty of the countries.
isn't this exciting, yannie-poo?!!!!

♥friday evening/saturday's first stop!♥
*insert teleportation device sounds*
ah, yannie-poo and hummy arrive, safely and all intact, in beautiful Singapore!

luckily timezones do not affect yannie-poo and hummy using the teleportation device, woohoo!
leaving friday evening proved to be a good choice.
yannie-poo and hummy check into their hotel room to get a good nights rest.
they are staying at the hotel by the merlion.
waking bright and early, and after breakfast that will be their first sight-seeing adventure.
the dining room has a koi pond with a water fountain and a breathtaking view!
the hotel offers an amazing breakfast buffet.
it consists of chicken sausage, hash brown potatoes with onions and red peppers,
an assortment of eggs, fruits and breads.
yannie-poo and hummy love the chicken sausages that they dunk into sweet chili sauce.
:drool:
follow that with some watermelon and cantalope to cool off their pallets.
their bellies full of scrumptous foods yannie-poo and hummy decide it's time to venture out into this wonderful city.
it's not too hot as the day is just beginning.

♥the merlion♥

the merlion statue is within walking distance to yannie-poo ad hummy's hotel room.
they take some snacks and water with them to start their journey around Singapore.
yannie-poo wants to bring chocolates and more chocolates,
but, hummy convinces him to take some fruits and nuts.
yannie-poo is worried the merlion won't like 'health' foods.
*hummy giggles*
she thinks it's yannie-poo who is wanting all of the delicious chocolates.
as we arrive yannie-poo can't believe how big the merlion is.
'he's ginormous!'
'he is pretty impressive, isn't he?'
doing the typical tourist thing we get our pictures taken and take of few for other visitor.
our next stop is the bird park of Singapore.
we decide to take a taxi so we can see the beautiful island of Singapore at a slower pace.

yannie-poo and hummy decided to see the whole bird park via old fashioned transportation.....thier monorail!
touring the bird park via the monorail was so much fun!
yannie-poo was 'ooohhhin' and awwwin' at everything.
he really didn't want to get off, it was cool and a lot of fun to ride!
he really wanted to see the waterfalls and see the birds in their habitats.
since we couldn't do everything,
so we choose a few we both wanted to see.
the first stop was the waterfall!

it sounds just as beautiful as it looks.
they have beautiful foliage/flowers all over, and we loved to see them all.
it was pretty crowed and hot!
so we decided to go have a little something refreshing at the covered consession stands.
we got some popcorn and slushies and enjoyed them in the cool shade.
they have fans and some animals outside the ralings!
we tossed a few kernnels of popcorn which the monkies loved!

all of the birds are just beautiful.
the hummingbirds were my favorite!
go figure, right?
yannie-poo just loved, loved, loved the penguins.
they have their own inside water park.
the feeders throw fishies to make themy jump and dive,
it's an amazing show!
yannie-poo didn't want to go outside to see the bird show.
but, once we got to our seats in the arena and could feel the fans spritzing water on us,
he was yannie-fannie-poo!
the macaws were so fasinating and flew just above our heads!
the pink flamingo's are so PINK!
and they make an amazing sight to see.

♥lunch in the rainforest!♥

it's time to have some lunch.
yannie-poo and hummy decided to bring something to eat and enjoy it in the 'rainforest'.
it's beautiful in here with all of the plants, trees and birds.
they have a 'rainshower' every hour and it is so refreshing, it's unbelievable!
yannie-poo is enjoying his food and the entertainment of the birds.
he loves sharing with some of the birdies.
what a good boy.
we sure are enjoying are time relaxing and fueling our bodies up for more sight-seeing.
*yawn*
aw, the cute little yannie-poo is nodding off.
well, it has been a very active day!
hoping to become yannie-poo's mama i do want him well rested and taken care of.
so we'll sit here and let him nap for a bit.
hummy is enjoying her time with yannie-poo and her dawgs could use a rest, too!
this sure is a beautiful place,
and how ingenious to have it rain inside!
it's about to 'rain' again so hummy wakes up yannie-poo gently so he can enjoy a second shower.
it sure is refreshing!

♥swiming with the pink dolphins in Singapore!♥

yanie-poo just loved swiming with the pink dolphins in Singapore.
he was oogling all of the girls and instuctors swiming with us.
everyone loved him and enjoyed his 'attention' to thier *cough, cough* floatation devices.
he was having so much fun and was upset when our time with the pink dolphins and lovely ladies came to an end.
we took a lot of pictures of yannie-poo and his new friends.
funny thing, yannie-poo's pictures were all out of focus.
.....or maybe he was focused in on the valuptous bathing beauties fashions?
*giggles*
the ladies loved all of yannie-poo's affection.
we all had so much fun!

after the fun with the pink dolphins we go to gift shoppe.
yannie-poo had some professional pictures taken so we can remember our exciting adventure.
he is so excited to see his pictures he can barely contain himself.
oh, now he sees a tee-shirt and ballcap he just has to have.
lol, they look darling on him,
how can i say no?
the pictures are ready!
yannie-poo is gathered with the other children waiting to see his pictures.
funny thing, he seems to be nuzzling the pretty blond lady distributing them.
what a little scamp!
oh my goodness,
they are just adorable.
even if we don't get to live with each other,
we will always have this amazing adventure.
and we has proof!

i think it may go a bit too late to do the night time safari,
so the butterfly park it is!
we find a cab and ask her to take us on the scenic route to the butterfly park.
the cab diver, a valuptous blonde, is more than happy to provide us with a beautiful trip.
too bad yannie-poo is more interested in her 'hills and valley's'!
it's cool in the cab and yannie-poo is very happy with his 'sight-seeing'.
the city's beautiful and has so many amazing cultures.
we drive by little India and there are such colorful statues and buildings.
you can smell the insence in the air.
there is even one on the rooftop of a mall.
we should check that out.
maybe go into a Victoria's Secret store.
we stop and go up to the rooftop waterfall and it's so pretty.
the sights and sounds are just amazing.
yannie-poo wats to see beewbie holders!
VS has so many to look at and the ladies just love yannie-poo!
time to go little mister grabbie hands!

♥the butterfly park!♥

this place is amazing!
yannie-poo is being strolled around and the butterflies are all over.
some land on his little hand and he squeals with delight!
there are so many pretty flowers and the sky is so blue it is truely breathtaking.
it's so much fun to just sit and watch them flitter around.
their colors are so vibriant,
but taking pictures is proving to be difficult.
a little potty break and washing up.
then back to viewing the sights at the butterfly park.
yannie-poo discovers that there is a bug exibition.
reluctantly hummy agrees to go see it with yannie-poo,
but, only if it isn't too scary.
'we don't need any nightmares!'
hummy was meaning for herself not to have nightmares.
they so enjoyed the butterfly park and wish they had more time to see all the bug, too.
happily, i mean, sadly it's time to go!

back at our lovely hotel and time for something wonderful to eat,
a whirlpool bath and then to get some rest for tomorrow's adventure!
yannie-poo is wanting to order ice cream sundaes and chocolate chip cookies and every thing sweet.
he spots some picture of a fish head!
hummy tells yannie-poo that fish head soup,
with the eyes intackt,
is a Singapore delicasity.
'ewwww?!' exclaims yannie-poo.
he asks if i have ever had it and i giggles.
'no, yannie-poo, i'm not a fancy smachy person.'
hummy prefers hamburgers and sweet potato french fries.
'yummie, that sounds so goo.' says yannie-poo.
so we decide to compromise ad order up some hamburger sliders and sweet potato french fries.
seeing yannie-poo's face hummy adds a small hot fudge ice cream sundae and a few of the hotels pasteries.
'this should be a nice feast after such a fun day!' says hummy.
all bathed and waiting for food we cuddle on the couch in our soft hotel bath robes to watch some cartoons.

Sunday brings us to Tokyo and favorite spots.
Japan is so family oriented i want yannie-poo to see how families interact.
our first stop is Tokyo tower,
it's so tall and makes us feel small,
the city is crowded and bustling.
we walk down the street to the ginza for some breakfast.
outside the sanrio shoppe is a playground and yannie-poo joins in with the fun.
the children haven't seen a boy like yannie-poo and they all gather to interact.
we share some delicious foods and enjoy questions while teaching each other english and Japanese.
they think yannie-poo is 'kawai' and yannie-poo thinks they are cute.
we see some young ladies in traditional kimono's.
they ask to take pictures,
you should see where his eyes are looking!
the girls blush and flash the peace sign.
we enter Sanrio to 'Irasshaimase!', they sort of sing it.
yannie-poo giggles and the girls just love him.
hummy buys a blue hello kitty mini-plushie for rememberance.
the ginza bustles with families and happiness.
sakura park is just my favorite place to enjoy the early afternoon.

♥sunday's second activity♥


we picked up some bento boxes and drinks on the way to 'friendly park',
to enjoy in the cool breeze of the early afternoon.

he rushes to the train ride and one of the little girls wants him to sit with her.
they wave each time they pass by.

♥catching a koi fishie♥

he's doing really well and enjoying the atmosphere.

there are balloons and toys and little rides.
the most fun activites for the children and adults alike is catching a koi fishsie.
you get a little paper scoop and you have to catch your koy without the paper scoop breaking.
it is much harder than it sounds!
little yannie-poo so wanted to catch himself his very own koi fishie.
he tried several time, to no avail.
a little Japanese boy was watching him curiously.
he walked over to yannie-poo and took his hand to guide him.
they were adorable together, neither said a word.
much to my surprise and delight,
they caught a little orange and white koi!
yannie-poo didn't jump or squeal until his koi was put into the plastic bag of victory!
'YUSH!', said yannie-poo with a triumphant scream.
both childrean jumped up and down and beamed with pride.
'i'm going to name him Yushi.' yannie-poo exclaimed.
yannie-poo and his new found friend went over to his parents to show them little Yushi.
his parents bowed and congratulated yannie-poo on his victory.

cloud gazing

lying on our backs, under the sakura tree, smelling the blossoms and basking in yannie-poo's koi victory,
yannie-poo and hummy stare at the clouds.
realaxing in the warm sunshine yannie-poo spots a pair of beewbies in the clouds.
'look mama!', yannie-poo exclaims, 'look at the fluffy clouds, don't they remind you of something?'
as i well up with tears at yannie-poo's calling me 'mama',
i see the 'beewbie' clouds and think, this little boy needs me!
what a little handful yannie-poo will be.
but, after spending this wonderful day with so many families,
hummy feels she can be yannie-poo's 'mama' and give him all the love he can handle.
okay, enough sentiment, yannie-poo wants to go have some ice cream or cake or something delicious!

♥sunday's 5th activity♥
♥we all scream for ice cream!♥

yannie-poo is enjoying all the family activities with his new found friends.
the children are all wanting to eat some ice cream.
we wander over to the little ice cream stand and try to decide which flavor to choose.
the flavors are not the same as what yannie-poo is used to.
'green tea is a good choice, sweetie.' mama hummy says.
yannie sees one with a fish on it! 'what's this?' he asks with a 'ewwww' face.
'it's ice cream flavored with saury, that's a saltwater fish popular in Japan.....not the greatest tasting ice cream on earth, though.'
yannie-poo's eye catches a container that, if you squint, looks like beewbies!
'i wanna try that one, mama!'
'that is Cactus Ice Cream, Saboten Aisu, it's tasty.'
we purchase some ice creams for yannie-poo and his friends and retun to our spot under the sakura blossoms.
the children sure are enjoying themselves.

♥sunday's 6th activity♥

♥sweet memories♥
♥picture time!♥

one thing yannie-poo noticed was how much the Japanes families loved to take pictures!
so after finishing up our ice cream we all take turns taking each others pictures.
the little Japanese kids love to flash the peace sing in their pictures.
yannie-poo is doing the same thing,
it's precious.
smile for the camera children!
they all yell HAI!
i love that he has adapted to all the clutural differences so easily.
yannie-poo and hummy are having the very best time!
these will be fond memories for yannie-poo,
even if we don't become a family together.
yannie-poo will always be in my heart.
hummy is thinking positive and enjoying all the quality time together.

♥sunday's 7th activity♥
♥peaceful tea ceremony!♥

the tea ceremony is such a beautiful thing.
you feel the respect and calm and love so completely.
yannie-poo and hummy sit in the beautiful tea room waiting for the ceremony to start.
hummy is surprised how calm and settled yannie-poo is while he waits to drink his first cup of green tea.
we watch the beautiful lady preform the teac ceremony.
fortunately her kimono does not show any of her well endowed cleavage!
that sure doesn't stop little yannie-poo from ooggling her!
the kimino lady blushes and bows to say goodbye.
this sure has been a delicious stop on our adventure!
the weekend is going by so quicky it's making hummy sad.
i hope yannie-poo is enjoying himself.

♥sunday's 8th activity♥

♥a little sight-seeing!!♥

before yannie-poo and hummy head off to dinner they decide to take a short sight-seeing trip around tokyo.
it's such a beautiful city,
but walking can be daunting for such a small little yannie-poo,
and hummy, too!
all of the neon lights are so memerizing and yannie-poo is loving the rickshaw ride.
hummy have to admit, she is loving it, too.
it's a nice pace ad a cool breeze.
even though it's evening time the streets are still bustling,
even with little school children.
Japan feels like such a safe place!
yannie-poo and hummy just love it here.
yannie-poo has been lulled to sleep by the rickshaw ride.
this is beautiful.

♥sunday's 9th activity♥
♥night time is the right time for NEON!♥

our rickshaw ride brings us down the street to the tokyo ferris wheel.
you can see it for miles and miles.
it's bright neon captivates everyone as the watch it go round and round.
yannie-poo and hummy aren't too keen on riding the humugous ferris wheel.
they opt for the beautiful carasel ride.
we choose one of the seats and watch all the little Japanese children ride on the carasel horses.
they go up and down and yannie-poo so wants to ride one.
so we go another round and this time mama hummy holds yannie-poo on his favorite carasel horsie!
yannie-poo cuddles with hummy and they both seem very happy together.
the evening is almost over for them.
sadly they make the short trip back to their hotel.

♥traditional Japanes bedroom♥

the weekend is ending, hummy is sad.
it's been a marvalous adventure and hopefully just the first of many more.
we are staying in a traditional Japanese hotel, the bedroom has rolled up bed cushions,
laid on a tatimi matted floor.
the smell is very comforting, almost all Japanese have at least one room made soley of tatami.
yannie-poo thinks this is the best thing ever,
something he has said, often, about everything we have done together.
yannie-poo has cuddled up in his sleeping mat and sweet little snores eminate from him.
hummy feels sleep taking over her as she watches little yannie-poo sleeping so soundly next to her.
hummy loves yannie-poo already and feels he is her son.
hummy gives thanks for yannie-poo coming in to her life.

yannie-poo and hummy arrive at home sweet home,
safe and sound and again all pieces parts intact!
our adventures to Singapore and Japan are sweet memories.
yannie-poo has his mount fujisama ballcap on and his pink dolphin plushie tucked under his arm.

we are happily awaiting the adoption boards decision if yannie-poo and hummy can become a family.
anticipation is rising so hummy decides to make some mickey mouse waffles and turkey sausage patties.
yannie-poo says he wants chocolate chip pancakes and hummy agrees!

it's time for the adoption lady to pick yannie-poo up.
parting is really such sweet sorrow!

hummy blows a kiss goodbye and wipes tears from her eyes.
'mama hummy will see you soon, yannie-poo.'
even if we don't become family,
you will always be loved!
