yea, it can be a real pain. I find myself purging myself of my items all the time... constantly giving things away just to get them out of my house..

@Keres: Aww that sucks. I'm not too much of a hoarder. I have quite a bit of things, but a lot of the time I manage to organize my room once I finally get around to it. Over the years I have gotten rid of a LOT of things, though. I had to really sit down and separate the things I need and things I don't really need (but pose sentimental value) from the things I could live without.

@demo Yeah it can be a pain. a lot of it is when, I see myself getting too much, I just donate out when I don't "really" need and then keep everything sentimental.. I still have stuff placed at my moms house. o.o*

Yeah I bet. I really should have started on this like 5 weeks ago, but it's always been one thing or another for her to call it off to the next week. She plans to pick me up this morning, so hopefully it will finally get to happen. I don't think I'll get near close to done today. I'm gonna have to come back another day. Maybe a few more. Bleh. I know I need the money, but I'm not necessarily a professional house cleaner and organizer. xD I'm feeling a little overwhelmed already with every passing hour.

Yeah the dumpster was out friends for half the clothing we got rid of that got left beind in this house, and then the rest of it got donated.


and yea Demo, I'd get over whelmed too if someone kept purposeful not cleaning and putting it off.

Well I don't see her a whole lot, so I don't know every side to the story. From what my mom has told me, though, she's going through some kind of patch. I was told last night that her cupboards have held rotten and dried up food (as well as dead termites) for the longest time. Now she survives by eating out all the time. It's quite sad because she is probably one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known and I never would have imagined she would live this kind of lifestyle. :(

Yeah depression is definitely possible. I've read that this is one of the many symptoms of such. Anyway I don't want to bring the thread down with talk of depression. Let's talk about positive things.
