That's not a bad tradeoff. Commons can always be re-aquired. The old stuff...no so easily done.

I still think you should enter if you get the chance though. Some of the challenges get rather outrageous so it makes everyone step out of their comfort zone. For instance, my first challenge was to make a Mrs. Potato Head avatar. xD;

Plus you get to post your entries in the thread and all the lurkers can comment and make suggestions on your WIPs. So you're never on your own, really. x)
