Thanks. Do you both have power at your house? It's 97 here but the humidity makes it feel like over 100.

One of my friends lost power for 22 hours but got it back in the middle of the night. Her in-laws are still without power. They have a boat so they've been chilling out in.

yeah i have power. we haven't had any storms though. we got a small one last night, but other than it's DRY here.

lol that'd be fun to hang out in the boat! too bad it's under those circumstances though.

I can only complain about the cold-ness and constant rain here. So I don't feel your pain and I know that you don't feel mine. But people are so hard to make happy. If it had been crappy weather and rain all summer, people would be complaining just the same as me >.>

haha probably Zephi. I was telling hubby the other day that human race is so hard to please, because during the summer we yearn for winter and during the winter we yearn for summer! :XD we are never satisfied!

ugh so the only reason i'm up is because the cats knocked down my coffee cup that has my lettcue in it, i'm trying regrow it, and broke my other coffee cup. :( it was my favorite one! i guess i knew better than to keep the lettuce in a coffee cup... but still! why the hell are they up on kitchen cabinet thing?!?! sounds like they are up there again! :angry:

ugh. then i happen to look outside to check on things and somebody messed with our sidewalk lights again. :stare: it makes me really mad that we don't bother anyone or do stuff to other's property, but ours always gets broken/messed with. why is that?

It came on last night...so I had to run a half hour away to go get my mom since she wanted to be discharged last night instead of waiting for this morning. For those who don't know, she had to have double bypass surgery. Was supposed to be triple but they couldn't do anything to the one.

Yeah, she seems to be fine. :D She's glad to be out of the hospital. I have to take her to a doctor's appointment tomorrow. She's not allowed to drive for at least a month. So I am chauffeur.

llonka, can they see inside your house even during the day? I always go by the rule ifit is brighter outside than it is inside, they can't see in. At night they can see in and we can't see out. That's my excuse for walking around nekkid all day at least. *just kidding....* :ninja: *kinda*

I have no heat to worry about. And the sun rises and sets in the same direction that the building is situated, so it comes in the front in the morning and a little on the living room in the evening but never really thru the windows. It's always cooler in here than it is outside. I have to open my windows to get some heat in here. And Germans don't believe in A/C so that's not it.
