Democracy is a pain when they don't update their stuffs and you get calls about a state you haven't lived in for over a year. >.<

My favorite has been the lady that got pissy with me because my phone number is still a CA number...it's a cell phone. Why should I change my number after I've had it for 10 years? She told me I should change it to avoid confusion. That would be dumb since they would be calling that number looking for me and get someone else. Duh

I don't even know anything going on with the Canadian government right now, I don't keep up with that stuff.
I just sleep in and forget it exists.

Yeah, I feel like no matter who gets elected next (for the US anyway) will have a really hard time with stabilizing the country. I'm too much of an idealist and not enough of a realist to be able to pick a side. I think both the big parties have their good points (and unreasonable ones too) and I understand their ideals, but neither party can appropriately execute them. :/ Oh well. Anyway... ^^;

I think that in the US, one party has to control both president and legislative in order to get anything done... otherwise they just block each other. Unfortunately the few times that has happened, the next president is of the opposite party and he always undoes what the previous president did.

To an artist, that is like drawing something, erasing all of it, drawing some more, erasing some more, until there are just a few smudges left. Grrr.

Actually yes, at the end of the day they let all the judges and helpers pick over what's left (it's a LOT since they only take tiny bites for judging). But, by then I didn't want to look at most of it, much less eat it.

I did take some of the winning gingerbread home though, and a gorgeous scone with a subtle lemon flavor.
