Especially now that I'm in creative writing class and write for at least 50 minutes in a school day, if not more, this thread may be seeing a lot of use, which is cool, right? .w.
So with this first post, I'll plop in my first poem, which I think is untitled, but could totally be titled. I don't know.
What's it like to know
You've thrown me to the stone.
You've torn away my flesh and bone
And left me only organs.
They all work fine alone,
But will never cooperate again.
Uncased, they lay in the sun.
Baking and attracting the hens.
They peck at me with fervor,
But by now I've fallen asleep
I suppose you don't know what you were thinking.
I suppose you thought no one would know?
