What is it? Celestial Treacle Tart! Notes: This was my first time making treacle tart, which is a traditionally British treat. But, I got convinced by a British cook off show that I needed to attempt to make it. It is soo good. Nice and sweet, with a similar texture to pecan pie, but so orange-y citrus-y. Ooooh. It's also Harry Potter's favorite desert, fyi, if you ever wanna make it too!
I just wish I got a picture of it sliced, since they came out so perfect. But, everyone ate it up so fast >.< Bakingdom is where I found a recipe with converted measurements. I modified this recipe, and used orange zest and juice rather than lemon, added more ginger, and I had golden syrup and a touch of molasses.
