You could... combine!
I had that same problem though. Which ended up fixing itself because the one thing I made came out uuuugly! Lmao!
So if you're making them around the same time, you can see which ones look prettier.

You might consider altering one of your sweet dish ideas to make that an entry for the "Out of this World" category, too.

Hmm, let me think on how to make an "out of this world" dish..I wonder if my sugar cookies can be in that category... I may have made them star shaped and have faces using star sprinkles.. xD Think that would qualify as an "out of this world" food? Lol.

You can enter whatever you want in that category. :) I've accepted colored noodles and a cat so far, so pretty much anything goes! ;D

I forgot to put my name on the dish So I put a sticky note on the empty dishes cuz I didn't realize it until I finished eating it, and I didn't want to make a whole other plate again.... I don't know if this will work, but please consider my entry as legitimate
I've made a Savory Serving!
IMG:Delicious Tomato Soup | Ate it All...
What is it? Delicious Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Delicacies!
Notes: A simple recipe to make this very yummy homemade Tomato Soup!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 chopped Onion
1/2 tbsp. Minced Garlic (1-2 cloves) (Note: I used Garlic Salt/Powder and it tasted fine... >.>)
2 cups Chicken Stock (Note: I used Chicken Broth, tasted fine.. just added some Oregano to mixture)
1 14oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
Kosher Salt and Ground Black Pepper
1/2 cup Orzo (Note: I used broken-up spaghetti cuz Orzo tastes the same to me :P )
1/2 cup heavy cream (Note: I used whole milk cuz i didn't have cream... )
Heat Olive Oil over medium heat in a medium/large pot or dutch oven. Add the chopped onions and cook on med. low heat for 15 minutes or until golden colored. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute or so. Stir in the chicken stock, tomatoes, 1 tbsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper (or whatever spices you think would go well :) I used some Mrs. Dash, and some cayenne, cuz I like a little bit of spice). Bring soup to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
While simmering, boil your orza or broken-up spaghetti (or any noodle preference really) for about 7 minutes. Drain and add to soup. Stir in the cream, cook for 10 more minutes, stirring frequently (so the noodles dont stick to pan). (Note: I also added an extra can of regular Tomato Soup to thicken it up a little, since I was low on supplies... It came out tasting great though )Let cool and enjoy! Great with shredded cheese on top and some yummy sour cream!
Make your favorite grilled cheese combination to go with it! I made mine with wheat bread, shredded cheddar cheese, cracked pepper turkey slices and a slice of pepper jack cheese YUM
