I think I use too much glitter nail polish. I would like to use my shine polish more but the ones I have need multiple layers and they really don't dry well the more layers there are. XP

I think I'm going to layer some glitter polish over another color today... My finger has finally healed up enough.

Yeah, that's a no-go on having polish for Turkey day. My nails all keep breaking, so I'll probably just keep them real short and put on a clear-ish pink.

Aw, that's too bad. My polish has already started chipping unfortunately but my it's really just going to be my fiance and I for thanksgiving here so I guess it doesn't really matter...

Yeah. Clear-ish pink it was.
Wednesday in the salon was so busy that we didn't have time to do our own nails.

It needs to be 'professionally' done; the matte can look like a mess if you try it yourself on unbuffed nails. The paint looks uneven and steaks.
I tried these out for a while:

Those looks surprisingly really good! I usually hate nails that are cut like that as they remind me of talons but that manicure makes them looks very sophisticated and classy!

I just saw these images on tumblr:
Are fuzzy nails becoming a thing? I googled it and found a tutorial that uses flocking powder to achieve the effect, but I can't see ever putting that sort of effort into my nails.

Yeah they are becoming a thing along with putting beads on your nail for a sort of caviar look.
I have really weak nails so I usually keep them painted with something and Seche Vite. Right now I'm wearing a hot pink by Zoya called Dana and I got these cool Hello Kitty decals at Sephora that don't look like those nail stickers little kids wear. I have a silver outlined Hello Kitty face on each ring finger.

@ Knerd: That's so weird! I haven't seen that before. I couldn't imagine doing that to my nails though... Wouldn't the bits of fiber stay wet on your nails when you wash your hands?

They probably would but I suppose you could varnish those suckers if you don't mind them being a bit shiny.

Varnish would slick it all down and un-fuzz your nails, though. I think that the entire point of that manicure would be the fuzzy texture.
It boggle my mind! I just see no appeal in making my nails fuzzy.

I guess they would feel nice and soft but still... That's just weird and possibly unsanitary. >.>

I chew my nails too much to ever paint 'em unfortunately. I've tried everything to try and break the habit, but alas, I'm still too nervous a person to break such a nervous habit.
My toenails I like to paint though~ Red's and Purples, and various holiday colours (green and red for Christmas etc)
But I could never get into that fuzzy nail thing. It just looks creepy to me, the blue kind of like you ripped off some of the Cookie Monster's fur and wore it on your nails O.O

I like the idea of velvety nails, however it wouldn't be so great for me personally because I seem to catch myself with my fingers in my mouth or on my face or whatnot. I am guessing it isn't edible.

I painted my nails for once for my works X-mas party. I took a picture before I had to remove it.
I love painting my nails and wish I could do it more often. >.< . . . and wtf furry nails? That's different.

I actually really like those fuzzy nails... At first I didn't, but they're growing on me, and I kind of want to try it.

I just got some neat colors in nail polish when my sister-in-law took me out black friday shopping. I haven't painted my nails in years! I work with animals so it never stays on for very long. I might do my nails tonight because I've got two days off.

@ Nephila: I love them!
@ Longcat: How do you think you will paint them?
I started filing my nails down during my break today but only managed to get one of my hands done before I had to go back. I have to do the other hand now. ^^;

He don't you hate it when one side isn't equal.
For me if one of my nails break I feel like I have to cut all of them.

I could spin the fuzzy thing, but instead of fuzzy flocking powder, use glitter instead. Like, the long tinsel-like glitter bits. That could be cool.
