So--- my main desktop's harddrive failed today (if you were watching the stream last night, you probably noticed the warning box pop up every so often like an annoying Navi --"HEY, LISTEN!"). Luckily, I've already backed up all my files since I've known for awhile it was going to happen. I've ordered a new harddrive already but it probably won't arrive until later in the week (due to the holidays).

I _can_ doodle/draw while on my laptop but BEWARE, its just not the same. The positions are different, the resolution of the screen is smaller, the sensitivity/tablet settings are different, the monitor's color is off, I lack the brushes I had... etc. etc. This situation may mean that I won't complete many more or any at all during this event. Many apologies. I may try to do one or two later but I can't promise anything.

Regardless of this, I hope and wish that everyone is having a wonderful and warm Christmas Eve!

Awh, sorry to hear. That is never a fun thing. But glad you had it all backed up.

It's better than what I had when My hard drive kicked the bucket. Right in the middle of a presentation assignment due the next day.

Hardware problems suck! :o I recall burning out three mainframes in three years back on my laptop...had to change them too. :c

That sucks to hear, but at least you have backed up your entire hard drive so the situation isn't as bleak as it sounds. Plus, at least you have another computer to use in the meantime. :)
