My godmother adopted a couple of older boys after fostering them, they're a couple of years younger than me now and all but moved out. Older children in care need homes too.

Ugh, I've been putting off having to go to the loo.... I think I'll go now, and risk having a million and 2 posts to catch up on when I get back.

*blinks* I left for a couple of minutes to check up some spinach and lentil soup recipes to find you guys flying ahead of me!

And hummy, hun, I love you but I'm poor after I pay my bills. I'll have to politely decline. xD

If my flatmate was in I'd ask her about the soup. She is the expert in lentil cooking and uses bags and bags of the things.

Why does people want to adopt kids from such far away country?
I mean, lol, convenience wise, own country is easier to get? DX

I should fold clothes today. I haven't folded clothes since.... November? Or maybe October. *shrugs*

Xuv: I've found it way different. Yes! Because especially when someone turns to me and tells me basically that I look like I'm pregnant with twins... when I'm not... I'm like -.- "No. Does it really look like I'm that pregnant... just because I'm huge doesn't mean that I'm pregnant with twins." Just makes me feel bad. It's something that I really don't expect someone who's not been pregnant before to understand. Plus I have emotions all over the place and mood swings that don't help much either.

Magentata, that is so nice of your godmother. Does the adopted kids grows up well and contributing to the society?

Well, some people see an oppourtunity to help in a "poorer" country. But I think that if a kid is up for adoption in your own country, why wouldn't you want to adopt a kid there? I wouldn't mind adopting an older kid. I think my husband would only be happy with a baby though. IDK why. I don't get men sometimes.
