For our wedding (years and years ago), I rented my gown (a turn of the century outfit with a huge hat and parasol).

The wedding was small....mainly just family. It was in an old house that the city rented for stuff like that. Then we had a party. We brought in our own stereo, had a keg, cheap pink champagne...

Everything was low key (hubby and I paid for it ourselves).
The guys had rented tuxes with tails, tophats, spats...the whole turn of the century thing. My sister was my maid of honor, and she rented her outfit from the same place I did...large hat, etc.

It was a LOT of fun..

My only regret...I totally forgot about a wedding cake. To this day I wish I had had a wedding cake.

Wedding talk?

If I ever had to get married I'd go for a shotgun wedding in Vegas, but other than that I don't particularly want a wedding.
