Neko City: A New Chapter

Beneath New York City is a secret town where half-breeds can live peacefully. The only way to get into the city is through the underground train system that leads to other hidden towns, and through a small cave located in the wooded area around just outside the city district of New York. The tunnel leads underground and to the Neko City. It's rare for a human to wonder in, but when it does happen the Council of Elders turns the humans into a half-breed in order to keep their little town a secret.

The residents of Neko city are sweet, caring people. Save for the few loners and butt-munches who keep to themselves. Every half-breed, and human turned half-breed, are always welcomed with open arms in Neko city!

Biography: Sefira (Seh-Fee-Rah) is a talented and powerful mage. Her father was not human, but her mother was. She has four siblings, and she was the only one who was a girl and on top of that she wasn't human. She was also the middle child. Her father left for unexplained reasons and her mother married someone else and had two kids (twins). After her father elft, Safira had to teach herself how to use her powers and not be seen by humans. She still hasn't mastered her powers, but she can control them very well. Katrina was practicing her magic in the woods when she heard humans coming and dashed into a cave. To her surprise, this cave lead to somewhere special.

Biography: Princess Mimi Euphemia Moon-Light is a Dragon Bat hybrid and the youngest child to the High Dragon King Marcus and the High Bat Queen Tiamat. She has a good life living with her family and loves being around her big brother. She tries her best to stay out of his way but he is so kind to her, she can't help it. Mimi sung for people who really needed her help and everyone in town knows of the Princess's generous heart. However, something isn't right. The Princess has been missing for days and no one has seen her. Marcus and Tiamat began to worry as, her older brother, Beelzebub, leaves the castle to find her. The only reason Mimi had not returned home is because she hit her head and can't remember where she is, who she is and why she is there.

Biography: Prince Beelzebub LeLouch is a Dragon Bat hybrid and the eldest son of two kids of High Queen Tiamat and High-King Marcus. He is said to be scary look at first glance but he has a temperament like his father and won't harm anyone. However, he will kill anyone who harms his sister. Beelzebub cares for his sister, which is why he left the castle to go find her. He is worried something happened to her.

Biography: Cerna is the Guardian of the Princess when she leaves the castle. In charge of protecting the Princess since she was 10, Cerna adored the Princess and her kindness, even though Cerna is cursed to have the blood of her older dead brother run through her veins. Fero was killed by humans and was then placed in Cerna's born when she was born and this caused them to share her body but he comes out ever now and then. Cerna and Fero enjoy the Princess since she helps them forget their pass. However, Fero and Cerna have to find Princess Mimi before it is too late and someone else finds her. Using her bat instincts, Cerna might be about to locate Mimi in one piece, but Fero believes that using sonar is a bad idea since almost anyone can read them well on a sonar link.

Bio: Alana is one of the mayor's daughter's, the other being her older sister. She is glad to say that they have no brothers, just her and her obedient older sister. They may be related, but alana is the polar opposite of her sister hannah. Her sister tries doing everything by the book while Alana just tried to have fun.

Her family holds great power since they are they mayors and one of her grandparents is an elder. She doesn't let the lavished life get to her. Often when she is in town (most of the times looking for her sister!), she stops by shelters and soup kitchens to help out. She may be obedent but she is not selfish or conceded.

The sound of Sefira's boots hitting the ground as she ran echoed through the cave. She panted, feeling exhausted from all the running. The reason she was running was because there was some group of human walking around and being stupid. She was practicing using her powers, causing strong winds and shooting fire at targets then immediately putting it out. She didn't want the humans seeing what she could do, so she ran. Still hearing the humans, she ran into a cave. Though as she went deeper, she could see a light at the end of the tunnel. She felt a peng of curiosity, wanting to find out what was causing the light she continued down the cave. Since there were no humans around, Sefira stopped running and rested for a moment, catching her breath. Once her breathing was steadied, she put her arms out and jumped up, the air around her spinning around her and pushing her ahead. She started flying down the cave. it went deep down and then lead to the outside. Once Sefira was out, she looked around. Since it was night time, it was very dark. She held up her right hand, and a blue flame appeared in the palm over hand. She had a bright blue light now, showing her her surroundings. it was all woods. She raised a brow, wondering exactly where this tunnel led her. Sefira used her powers to control the winds to fl up above the trees. Now above the extremely tall trees, she could see a city. Sefira was surprised by this, wondering exactly how a city could be underground. Sefira let the ball off fire in her palm go out and then pulled up her hood. She was going to investigate. She pulled her scarf up to cover the lower half of her face and flew forward. She was going to investigate this town. She flew over the tree tops at a fast pace until she was not far from the city. In order to not alarm anyone, she flew down to the ground and landed. Sefira clasped her coat shut and walked into the city. When she stepped onto the sidewalk her eyes widened at the site.

The town was almost as active as new york, except...everyone had animal parts. Some had the ears and tail of wolfs, other's had cat parts, some even had the legs of goats and horns on their heads. Sefira was surprised. She had no idea these creatures existed. Then again, she existed. Someone who could control elements. She wasn't normal, she wasn't she human. These...halfbreeds weren't quite human as well. Most looked mostly human, but not all of them did. Some even had scaly skin like a snake or lizard. Sefira had heard of creatures like these, but the thought of them existing never occurred to her. She should have known better than to assume they didn't. What was even more of a shock is that they established a city underground. She wasn't aware of them, she doubted the humans weren't either. Sefira stepped into the busy street and tried her best to avoid bumping into people who were crossing it.

Mars was walking down sidewalk, humming to herself. She had just knocked out a guard and ran out here. She had been doing paperwork all day. She had to get away. She hated being locked up in that stupid office signing documents and having meetings. It was boring as hell. The least those goddamn guards could do was let her out. But nooo, they had to be all like "naw, you get to stay inside and work! There is much to be done!". Mars was sick of it. So she kicked them in the groin and ran off. Now Mars was happily walking through the crowds and twirling around people who were about to run into her. Until she ran straight into a lady with a blue cloak.

Hannah looked around the mansion for Alana. Where was she? She hadn't been able to find her all day. She sighed and got her bag and told the guards she would be back as soon as possible. She then began looking around town. She checked all of her sister's favorite places, the market, the edge of the forest, town square. Bu no sign. She sighed as she took a break on the bench. She was then pounced on by someone small.

Alana had her prey in sites. She hid in the shade of the tree as her target sat for a rest. She crept up a bit and then she pounced. She landed on her targets back. She then giggled as she hugged her sister. "I got you sissy," Alana said. Her sister let out a laugh. She loved hearing her sister laugh, since she had not laughed much after their mother had died. "Where have you been Alana" her sister asked. "I wanted to see if i could make you laugh sissy," Alana said with a smile and sat beside her sister.

As the townspeople talked and walked to where they needed to be, in the castle of their king and queen, things couldn't be any more frantic. Princess Mimi was missing and she has been missing for days. High Dragon King Marcus is at his wits end, his little girl was out where the commoners were and it would have only been a matter of time until someone decided to ask for a ransom. High Queen Tiamat knew the situation was dire as well. The barrier that kept Neko City and the Human World apart was fading and Mimi was the one in charge of the barrier. The townspeople knew the Royal family's daughter was missing and prayed for her return home since she was the one who had a generous heart. Deep in the woods, a creepy looking snake slithered through the grass, but this was no normal snake, she had the upper torso of a human girl. Her piercing gold eyes scanned the area she was in, sniffing the ground with her tongue. "It's hopeless, we won't find her here." A voice said aloud as a large black blob came out of the female snake's body, it was Fero, her older brother who inhabited her body in the form of blood. "Cerna, let's check somewhere else." He said looking at his whether strange looking little sister. Cerna looked up at the black blob and sighed, "OK, we'll look sssomewhere elssse then, but I know the Princssesss is out here. I can feel it. Asss her guardian, it isss my duty to protect her." Cerna said, slithering in the grass again, her pale pinkish red arms and pale complexion made it look like Cerna was dead and acted like a zombie. Before she knew it, Cerna found herself in a park and seen children playing, slithering by she saw two girls on a bench. "Maybe they seen the Princsesss, I'll go assk." She said as she started turning back into a halfbreed form with a long sleeved black dress, pink hair and a snake tail. "Ex-Excuse me, but we were wondering if you had seen the Princess?" Cerna said in some confidence. Fero nodded and spoke as well, "We really need to find her." he said.

A scary man slowly walked through town, looking around at the people around him. He really didn't have a choice, he has to look down since was really tall. he would occasionally stop walking to look at a poster of a girl who smiled brightly and held a microphone in her hands. The man knew who this girl was who sung to people since her voice was soothing to the soul. It was something to behold and make things a little better, when times are tough. But times are tough, she is missing and he had to find her. The singer's name was Mimi Euphemia Moon-Light and she was next in line for the Throne to Neko City. The man was her older brother, Beelzebub LeLouch Moon-Light. His large tail swayed behind him lightly as he looked around at the people. Mimi was his baby sister and he was to protect her if danger was near. Sighing, Beelzebub walked away from the poster and started walking around more, he wanted to find his sister, he missed her and she was the only one who seem to calm him down. 'Don't worry sis, I will find you.' He thought to himself as he looked around. After a few moments, Beelzebub bumped into someone, he looked down to see it was two people, a girl with cat ears and a person in a blue cloak, "Pardon me." He said low and almost eerie like as he quickly left, his royal clothes making people know his is the Prince, even though he didn't really know anyone to know.

On the other side of town, laid a girl with blue skin and short clothes too small for her body. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around, blinking lightly as she used her arms to support her body. "Wh-Where am I?" She asked herself aloud, rubbing her head and felt the blood drip from a wound on her head. "I'm bleeding, what happened to me?" She asked as the girl then stood up, wobbly, and walked out of the grass. Her tail swayed lightly behind her as her long dark blue hair was a little messy and matted from laying in the grass to long. Groaning softly, she walked to a pond and started washing her face to clean herself off as best she could. Once she was done, she looked in the pond and noticed a black choker cloth with a beautiful heart shaped pendant dangling. Curious, the girl gently placed her hands on it to look at it closer, and saw a name on it. "E-Eu-Eu-phy...Eu-phy..Euphy." She said blinking, "My name is...Euphy?" Euphy said softly blinking, stand up again and started walking down a path were children were playing in another park. "I wonder...what happened to me...who I really am...what am I exactly?" Euphy questioned as she continued to walk around, letting the choker pendant dangle on her large chest.

The gates opened around the Mayors Manor. Buzial stepped in, holding two objects behind his back "Hello? Anyone here?"he yelled out.

Alexander was on his way to his mine, thinking of the un-tapped area he had discovered. He had not seen anything.....yet, but it was a good prospect. He, however, stumbled upon a bat-looking girl, looking lost and confused. "Excuse me, Miss? are you okay?" he asked.

Sefira was lost in thought when someone ran right into her back. She stumbled forward right into another person. She felt so embarrassed. She hadn't been paying attention at all where she was going. She looked up at the male she had ran into, her face as red as poppies. "I-I'm so sorry!", she said softly. She hadn't realized it, but her hood had fallen down from her stumbling. Before she could apologize to the red haired female, the lady spoke. "You're a human? What are you doing here?!", she said loudly. Sefira had a confused look on her face, then it turned to an 'oh shit' face. Sefira gathered from the female's response that humans weren't supposed to be here. Although she wasn't human, she definitely looked human.

Mars was going to apologize to the girl about bumping into her, but when she saw the girl was a human, she couldn't help but point it out. it had been a little while since she saw a human. Not long ago one had come in, going by the name of Reyna. She had been turned into a Neko as soon as they could turn her into one. Humans occasionally wandered in, usually it'd be a year or so before another one came up, if any did. "You're not supposed to be here. Now I'll have to take you to the place and have you turned and...I did not want to have to deal with this today!", Mars said in frustration. She grabbed the human's arm tightly and tried to drag her away. Mars was soon pushed back by a strong force...it felt like wind. A really strong wind. When she fell onto her side, though she wasn't hurt. Just confused.

Euphy looked around the park, her tail swaying lightly behind her as she turned around to hear a voice. Her black and gold eyes scanned the area until she say a neko standing not to far from her. Blinking lightly, Euphy felt her head then looked at her hand, it looked like the blood had stopped for a moment bit it had stained her hair and some of her clothes a little. "I think I'm ok. I just woke up in that field over there. May you tell me where I am and what is going on?" She asked blinking lightly, still a little dazed from waking up. She was an odd-like creature, her wings came out of her hips instead of her back and there seem to be a pair of red chains with points at the end coming out of her back as well. Euphy didn't seem to mind them, since she had already looked at herself in the pond.

Beelzebub continued to walk away until he stopped and looked at the girls for a moment, "It's ok." He said, but his eyes widen once he heard one of the girls say the girl in the blue cloak was a human. Beelzebub walked back to the girls and seen one of them on the ground, "What the? What the hell is going on?" He asked looking around a little, his tail curling behind him then looked at the girl in the blue cloak. "You do smell like a human but only a little. I don't know the other have." Beelzebub said, his black and gold eyes scanning the girl up and down. He looked down at the other girl and held out his hand, "Need help up?" He asked still in his eerie voice. His wings folded on his back and a pair of red chains coming out of his back through the clothes he wore. "Who are you two exactly?" He asked looking back for a moment.

Hannah and Alana looked at the two. The Princess is missing Hannah thought to herself. "No I'm afraid not. I have not seen her," Hannah said. "Me either Alana said. Alana wondered where the princess could have gone. "We can help you search for her if you want," Hannah said. She knew every square inch of the city.

Sefira had panicked a little when the red haired female got frustrated with her and start talking about turning her. She didn't want to be turn. Since she was a human, she didn't even think she would be able to turn into whatever a human was supposed to be turned into. She was stupid when she blasted the girl back. She wasn't thinking. She felt bad now. She didn't mean to hurt her. Sefira was actually horrified when she blasted her back. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sooo sorry!", she said quickly, looking at the red haired girl. Sefira was so nervous. Being in this unknown town already had her on edge, now she was blasting people with air and attacking attention. When the blue haired male came back, Sefira started to worry she had started a fight. When he said she smelled a little bit human, Sefira had a blank look on her face. What exactly did she smell like? She hoped it wasn't bad. "Uhh, um, no. Not human. Not quite sure what I am, but not human.", she said playing with her sleeve. When he asked who she was, Sefira gave him a nervous look. She wasn't exactly sure if she should tell these people her name. Though, she decided she would since she didn't want to seem rude. "My name is Sefira Katrina. I-I um...Honestly, I'm not from this city. I kind of stumbled in through a cave. What is this place, exactly?", she said, stepping closer to the two.


She wasn't human? Well Mars felt wonderful. She had just accused the girl of being human and was going to drag her as to the council. Now she felt like crap. The girl seemed awfully apologetic about blasting her back. "It's no problem, calm down!", Mars siad, waving her hand at the girl and giving her a smile What had she done? When Mars fell back, it felt like the wind had pushed her. Had she manipulated the wind or something? A human certainly couldn't do that. Mars looked up at the male when he offered her his hand and smiled. "Thank ya!, she said as she grabbed the male's hand and used it for leverage so she could pull herself up. Once she was on her feet she folded her arms over her chest and smiled. "Mars Nightingale! Proud owner of Nightingale company and head of the family!", she said smiling. Her ears twitched with excitement. She always loved saying that line. She didn't know why, but it felt awesome. "And you are?", she said to the male.

Cerna and Fero looked at the two girl as they both sighed heavily. The day of the blood moon was coming and they had to find the Princess. "Oh ok, thanks anyway." Fero said softly as Cerna turned around and started to walk away. But she stopped once she heard one of the girls say they would help. Cerna turned around smiling happily, "Y-You would d-do th-that? Oh wonderful. I am so glad. We will find the princess in time then." She said happily as her tail swayed happily and Fero chuckled softly.

Beelzebub listened to the girls as they started talking. he then gently lifted up from the female with the name Mars Nightingale. He listened to the other female named Sefira act what the city was. "This city is named Neko City. Home to half-breeds. Half human and half animals. It is run by the Royal family who are in charge of protecting the city with a barrier. However the barrier has weaken and humans have been coming in through caves and sewers." He said softly, his black and gold eyes scanning Sefira and Mars. Listening to what she did in life, but it was his turn. He cleared his throat spoke, "My name is Beelzebub. A normal...Dragon bat." He said, his tail swaying lightly as his wings twitched lightly. He knew the girls might question his appearance since his clothes seem to be something a rich person or a prince would buy.

"I know every square inch of the city, so do you know where she was last seen?" Hannah asked. If Hannah could know where the princess was last seen, she could help them find her. Alana found all the serious talk boring and turning into her animal form and began playing with a butterfly.

Alexander knelt down next to the Girl, Euphy, and pulled out a small first-aid kit. "Hold still miss. I need to sew this up, and sanitize it, otherwise it will get infected "he said to her. After applying a bit of alcohol to the cut, rubbing it thoroughly, he then started sewing it up. Being a Minor, you learned how to do such things.

Euphy looked at the Male s she blinked lightly, watching him tend to her wound. Her tail swayed lightly as she hummed softly waiting. She looked away from a moment and then looked towards Alexander. "Thank you." She said softly. "You must be a very good healer. I don't feel a thing, oh, my name is Euphy. What's your name?" Euphy asked as her tail curled and her wings stretched out from her hips. The red chains shifted a little as one of then rose off the ground and gently rubbed the top of her head lightly.

Cerna and Fero smiled to the two girls and nodded, "We know the Princess will be in parks or places where she can sing. After all, she is really famous for her singing." Cerna said, hoping that could help the two girls. Mimi was known for that and sometimes used her middle name to hide who she was from the commoners she could have a normal life. Fero looked at Alana as he went down low to the ground and swayed his way over to her. "Hey, I'm Fero. What's your name little one?" He asked softly in a gently voice, his white eyes wiggling a little as they made a happy look.

"Oiy there! What are you two doing. "Buzial said, pulling a Naginata (Staff with blade on end) from his back. He didn't trust Outsiders, or Newcomers. Force of habit. "Get away from her, Out-lander."He said, walking to stand in front of Alana.

"Being a Minor, you learn these sort of things. "He said to her, and took her hand. "I'm sorry, but you'll have to follow me for a bit, before I take you back to.....where ever your from. I have a little expedition I need to fulfill before I head back to town. "He said to her, and started heading for the Mine.

Sefira looked at the man with a curious look on her face. The city was interesting, but she was more interested in him. She'd never encountered a dragon-bat before, though she had heard of them. She took a step closer to him and tilted her head to the side as she looked him over. "Y-you're a Dragon Bat? That's amazing! I've heard your kind are very powerful.", she said. Sefira looked at Mars with a confused look when the girl was giggling. "He's not only a Dragon bat...but handsome~", Mars whispered to Sefira. Sefira's face turned red from the girl's words. Indeed the male was handsome, but she wasn't checking him out because of that. She must have looked like a perv when she was looking him over. She pulled her scarf up, covering most of her face except for her eyes, and looked down. Mars laughed at her, patting the girl's back.
