I had to get taken to the Doctors Monday because I had really bad pain going in my lower side/abdomen, that was what almost put me in the ER too. While I was there the doctor wanted to give me my shots that I was due for, I got three

I wish, but no. I'm type one diabetic. I need them to live. So at least 3 shots a day for seven years and 5 months now

Well, I got it when I was 11 so...that was a while ago xD You get used to it.
At least type two you can get rid of sometimes. Mine's forever. And it's possible to get type 2 on top of type 1
