Ice cream sounds nice... I'm afraid it would melt like immediately though given this heat. That also makes me think of my poor kitty melting on the floor in the living room. We tried turning on the AC in the bedroom for her but she just won't stay in there.

yeah it breaks my heart seeing the cats all lay on the floor like they're dead when it's hot x_x
seriously, they all lay around on the floor and it looks like there are cat bodies everywhere
]when our AC wasn't working and it was hot as balls, they'd do that.
now they don't do it since we have window units

Heh, I'm imagining like a horror movie scene where you walk into the living room and everywhere you look there's another cat flopped over in a dead pose. ^^;

She won't let me put the fan on her either so that doesn't help. I worry that she isn't drinking enough...

If she lays down in one place, set water near her so it's easier for her to drink.
unless she's sick, she should be drinking a lot of water.

Hm, I'll try it but I'm not sure she's going to go for it. She doesn't normally drink a lot. I imagine that she's a ninja and drinks when we're not around or I'm sure she'd have been in trouble by now.

yeah, unless cats have something wrong with them they usually drink quite a bit of water.

Yeah, still it makes me worry. V_V That's why I give her the wet food, so I can make sure she's getting some liquid from that at least.

Yeah, most cats adore canned food too. it's tasty and easier to eat ^^

Sometimes she gets sick after eating but that's about it really.

zig: yup! they throw it up, but it soothes their stomach. it helps them get out what's messing with their stomach.
