Rapids

You think you spot something glimmer in the rapids. Deciding it's worth the risk, you fight your way against the fast currents. Now that you're in it the thought that this might not have been the best of ideas crosses your mind. Your fingers catch on something under the water -- pulling it out, you find yourself face to face with the broken face of a Netherworld mask!! AAAIIIIIEEEE!!! This was a really bad idea for an earlier someone!

Tree roots

After weighing the odds, you decide that we wouldn't possibly make all the digging spaces bad, so with some confidence you set about poking the dirt around the tree roots for goodies. After a short while you find a rusty tin can that someone buried halfway. You manage to unearth it, give it a shake and hear a rattle and a clink, like something metal knocking around. "I knew it!" you proclaim as you tip the can upward.. and dump a bunch of dirt in your eyes. Ouch!
(Noth -- "NO!!" you shout -- "There's something else in here too!"

Well whaddaya know, turns out you were right after all. (+400g)

These rocks here

These here rocks are looking a little odd, almost like someone has recently piled them up irregularly on top of.. Oh! Yes, there's stuff under here! Sweet! (Where's the Rum EI)

Those rocks way over there

You venture over to those rocks way over there and look around for loose rocks. Sure enough, there's one that's clearly out of place. You're able to move it and find a wooden box underneath. Inside the box, under a layer of feathers, is a small toolkit. This is sure to come in handy!

Understory

It's darker in the understory than you first thought, but slowly your eyes adjust to the dimmed light. Looking around you find yourself surrounded by wondrous beauty! Flowers everywhere! If only Nalin were here to tell you what some of them were, but you take a few in hopes that you escape soon and will be able to show him.

Vine

Tugging the vine and finding it sturdy, you decide on a whim to climb the tree. You're pretty high up there when you spot a little nest. You're sure this one isn't a beehive, so you gingerly reach your hand into it.. Underneath a bunch of loose feathers your fingers connect with what feels like a book. Seems someone has been doing some treetop reading!

Young trees

Your progress in searching the young trees is somewhat hampered by the mounds of a viney plant with shiny red-tinged leaves that cover the area. You're carelessly pushing it aside when your exposed skin starts to tingle and burn. Soon enough you're blistering up, just as someone looks over at you and asks, "Dude. Why are you touching that poison ivy?"

Caught debris

The caught debris is right around where Madame Rousseau pointed when she yelled to keep away from her log, so you're a little on edge as you approach the mass. You decide to poke it with a nearby stick first, just in case, and when you do that out shoots a bunch of mice! As they swim for dear life, a few of them cling to you and your companions' clothing. (1 random mousie)
