Haha I'm ADDICTED to purple! I was trying to make an avatar using greens because I suck at green and then it changed over and over again and the green was all gone XDDDD!!

I start out with a plan and idea for one, then it slowly grows and changes and changes until it's something completely different. xP It's a funny process.

I try to use colors I don't usually use from time to time, too. Purple is actually one I don't use too often because we don't have enough of a variety of items in purple. They're mainly just the basic items :(

xD I'm glad I'm not the only one then!! I try find an item we don't see often enough and then use that for the outfit but the item often gets dropped as I go on xD

I just love purple @___@;; it's hard for me to not use it lol. I agree though, we need more!

Haha. I get like that with certain items and colors at times, too. It's hard to control your urges to add things on that aren't quite necessary. It's good to force yourself to try new things, though.

Kudos to you for using that mask and making it look awesome! Since it's green it's definitely not something I've ever used XD I FAIL AT THAT COLOUR OKAY. You can be my green amazing inspiration :P

Homigosh I know! After I add things I sometimes go "okay would that look good with the feel of this avatar?" like I totally wanted to add a fish in a bag with this one, but it would look stupid xD So I didn't.

I found these Estella Skirts and I am loving their layering so I'm expanding my bottom layering style XD And by that I mean this is the first avatar in a while that I'm not using the Pleasantly Purple Skirt or another of it's colours :P

I try to circulate through different colors I use to get a chance to use them all from time to time. You should try branching out sometimes. It can be pretty fun, and you feel pretty achieved afterwards. ^^

Right? I do that, too. I really want to add items because they would put the right color in the right spot, or they match well with it, but I will only do that when it's not one of my theme avis. Otherwise I strictly try to stick to items that go along with it.

They're awesome layers. Unfortunately I only have a couple of them, and I missed out on all the most recent commons. But that's good that you're branching out more! ^^ Trying new layers is a lot of fun. I enjoy experimenting with layers to see what new looks I can create.
