oh my style? o no err... well with Sai it's a lot easier, it just takes so much time @___@
with ms paint it was even longer but i kind of forgot about that to be honest... it's a good thing i warned i may be slow moving because i get cocky and think i can finish at least one a night and it turns out i'm lucky if i can finish one every two nights @_@;; plus i was super busy tonight anyway because everyone in my house is out of town atm, so i had to cut the grass and clean the house and make dinner all by myself which put me back like an extra 3 hours compared to normal. otl and I ended up burning dinner anyway AFTER i used the wrong oil for the chicken... sobbing

weeell, anyway, i have three other images that already have lineart at least 75% of the way finished, but it's the coloring and the shading that takes the most time. i have to take breaks sometimes because i get so tired of coloring one image that i get started working on another just to kill off some of the boredom that comes with the redundancy of so much shading... but since this commission is finished now i can work on all my mene orders without any commissions from any other sites getting in the way * v*

the amount of time it takes to sketch and do the lineart is maybe only like 15% of the total amount of time I spend on these. ; n; maybe add another 10% for the background and for the most part, it turns out I spend roughly 3/4 of my time coloring and shading @ n@;;

I get that... sometimes I think about how much I get done on those bursts where I really feel like drawing, and compare it to how much i might have done if i'd just done one or two images regularly a week.

I get out as much as I can and when i look back at how much I've done, i'm like, 'yeah great job, look at that. i finished a lot!' and i'm all proud and whatever, but then i think about how much more i would have done if i'd just done it a little more regularly instead of spending three months doing nothing and i'm just like, '... ok good feelings gone' xD

Exactly! Like I'm proud on how much I've done when I look back but just thinking how much I could have done it's like *sad* OTL
