Yeah, hectic for me means that I'll have a court date mid-March and depending on how it ends afterward could effect my roleplay life, and I might not be on the internet in the days leading to it from stress and preparing. I will make sure my character takes their leave for a bit when that happens.

I have an idea about how you feel.

My parents started their divorce when I was 12, and it didn't finish till I was like 14. My mom is the kind of person who can't hold a job and not so good with money. My dad is the opposite. At first my mom was putting up a fight for wanting me, so I went along with it. I moved in with her for a week or two, until my dad went to court and said I was to live with him until I made a decision on where I wanted to live. I love my mom, but I knew I'd have a better life with my dad. It left her heartbroken. She told me all these lies to make me move back in with her, but I knew they weren't true, plus I knew I'd make better life decisions living with my dad.

It used to be that I'd always come home crying from visiting her, because in the end she'd always make some comment about my dad, I'd tell her I made the decision to stay with him, she'd start crying asking why, (and I'm super emotional and it's hard for me not to cry when someone around me is) so I'd start crying too. I always made sure to leave saying "I love you Mom," to make sure she remembered that I did, since she's the kind of person that if you don't say it she'll think you hate her.

My dad was always cool about the divorce around me, but my mom never was. She was the one that made it the most stressful and heart-wrenching for me.

You want to live with your mom, is that right? It seems like the courts will typically let the child make the ultimate decision (unless their is drugs or alcohol involved)

When he does clean up and hit up the towns, you'll find him in dark jeans, a nice button up shirt, and a brown cowboy hat and boots.

Personality: Leo has a short fuse and a bad temper. He often finds himself in fights with anyone that makes fun of him. He's a gentleman to the ladies, but with anyone else who isn't his friend he finds himself getting offended quite easily.
Other Information: Leo grew up helping his grandmother on the farm every summer. Now that his grandma is suffering from dementia and isn't able to get around so easily, he has volunteered to run the farm. The townsfolk had always been nice to him, so he knows they'll help him if something bad were to happen.

Personality: Freddie gentle and calm, he doesn't like confrontations and can be shy at times. He, like his great aunt Evelyn, is a good listener, but tends to be more kind and subtle in his opinions. Also, Freddie is a firm believer in hard work and, due to the fact that he is very responsible, can be counted on to get a job done once he's put his mind to it.
Other Information: Freddie took over the general store after his great aunt. She felt that she had been around for a long time, given it everything she had and it was now time for "new blood to flow through it's veins." Freddie is proud and protective of the store and does his best to keep customers happy and the store in it's best condition.
