Where did you get your username from?

Like most of my usernames, I get them from a baby name site. I typically string three or more together, but for this name I just thought it would be more simple to use only two.

It's nothing exciting, I figure it's easier to just do that.

Mine's probably self explanatory! I'm not really sure as to why i picked it...Probably because it's quite a bold star, and i hoped to gain some boldness over my previous lurking tendencies? I don't think it worked very well though . I think if i remember rightly, my first choice was Moon but someone had already claimed it.

My user name is base off a oc character I made for a Sailor Moon rp. I use my oc's sailor scout name as my user name.

I was eating McDonalds one night.... and BOOM. Instant username while I was eating Dinner.

My username is from one of the highest rank one can get in the Navy. It's a four-star ranking, and the only higher things are special ranks. ...Of course my avatar is more pirate-based than Navy... Heh.

My aunt gave me a car when I was sixteen. I was a 1969 Karmann Ghia (which makes it about fifteen years older than me). Because it was a classic car, it was made out of steel, not plastic. So I named it Steel Magnolias. So it's nickname steel+mag plus the last part of the style of car, ghia, worked well together. It's never taken on any new website I join and is unique to me. :)

I always join avatar sites then ignore them leaving me stuck in a constant state of "newb." .3. It's a vicious cycle.

When i was younger i used to make names for my future kids and one of the names i made is my username. Its funny because I still don't have kids right now but my sister used this name to his son. So now there is a real living kid named Jhec Vincent my nephew.

It is supposed to be a name for boys but I like using it.

The short version is that it's just the handle I like using for forum websites.

I originally came up with it because I wanted to change my Gaia username to something that sounded cooler than my old username there, which was "Valkyrie Profile Lover."

For a while, years ago, I was DragonSinger... But then I was joining a site, and happened to be reading Beowulf-- because I'm weird and read Anglo-Saxon poetry for fun-- and decided to turn it to WyrmSkald... only I was also going through a phase where I liked 'y', so I became Wyrmskyld-- Dragon Shield.

I bought mine from Mr Gollum on ebay, I got this name instead of the real thing.

Mine comes from the character Midorikawa Ryuuji from the anime Inazuma Eleven. Originally I changed to it on another site after seeing a GIF from the anime with Midorikawa saying "Call me Midorikawa from now on" and since then it has become my constant username for like everything.

mine is based on my fursona Aika who is a maine coon cat breed.

My username is based on a Chinese character 晨 which can mean morning but is also used as a given name. Funnily enough Chen is a fairly common Chinese surname too...

I made mine up. I wanted it to be similar to my other handle nickname, Wavi. I looked at the alphabet and decided that Xavi sounded the best (it was either Xavi, Lavi, or Zavi; I liked the look and sound of Xavi so I picked that). I then wanted to add more letters behind it. I tried a whole bunch of combinations. Xavirne finally surfaced and I have loved it ever since.

The big question I'm always asked is how to pronounce it. Z - ave (like the beginning of average) -rin (like the name). That's how I say it. But I think it's easier to go by Xav (Z-ave) or Xavi (Z-ah-V).

Mika is the name of the main character from my favorite manga series, Red Angel. I suppose I'm not as into the series as I was back in high school, but I always identified a bit with her and admired her for her elegance and grace. (And I'm super-envious of her wardrobe as well. xP)

Rose is just my middle name and the name that I most commonly go by these days; I don't remember why I decided to combine the two names, but I thought they sounded nice together while I was trying to come up with a new username a few years back.

When I first joined the site, I wanted to come up with something simple, witty, sound almost like a real name but have it not be. So, it was between Clara Nette and Clair Voyant. I finally went with Clair Voyant because I could spell it like the word clairvoyant and Clara Nette only sounds like clarinet.

My username came from my Eastern zodiac (Earth dragon) and my Egyptian zodiac (Thoth).

My name was first "iRandall" because Randall (call me Randy) is my real first name. Then I became HTML because back then I wanted to become a web designer. Now it's been Moogle for a while because they're my favorite race from the Final Fantasy series.

I actually don't know where my username came from.. I guess I jumped on the bandwagon of using " `" in 2007 when everyone else was doing it and Foam seemed to be something pretty unique and whatnot. xD

I was signing up for another site, and I was like "Oh boy Nero from Devil May Cry is a pretty cool guy" so I tried it, but it was taken, then I just tried to put things on the end to make it sound catchy. So Nerosity it was!
