I want to buy some commons to donate, which sets do you think will be good ones apart from the harem set?

The Ceylon set is really good for this theme, and the day, night, and midnight gowns... you could probably justify a lot of the stuff in Menewshan Imports somehow or other-- the middle east was a huge trade hub. A lot of the merkheti style jewelry would work, too.

Hmm... now I'm thinking about making a male Desert Winds avatar-- nobody's done that yet! But I just got Thor finished... *contemplates*

Is Egyptian able to be justified with our theme?

I would tentatively say yes, as long as we don't make everything look like we're dressing for Celes Paradi. I can see most of the Pharaoh stuff working well blended in with other things.

Maybe not the headdress and the beard. But the other stuff yeah. Especially for the jewel tones part of the color contest.
