for the first time in... probably 8 years. Took me right back to being 14, and I was singing along like I never forgot the words!

I watched this the other day and began sobbing uncontrollably. My mum used to play this song when I was a baby and she was trying to get me to sleep. I hadn't heard it in years

A friend of mine I hadn't talked to in far too long got on skype yesterday, and we ended up talking for hours. He asked me to listen to a song mix he made. When Combat Baby by Metric came on, I started crying, because it made me so happy. It's a song that he loved a lot when we had been talking every single day, years ago. So it hearing it while talking to him just made the emotions hit harder.



It makes me think of him, and how much I miss him when I can't talk to him. He's one of my oldest friends, and I'm so glad he reminded me the song exists.

Haha... I'm crying right now, since I couldn't stop myself from listening to it It just makes me feel happy and closer to him, you know?
