Oh, I still sleep with stuffed animals also. I don't keep as many in my bed as I used to, but I always have a few.

I don't think I really ever grew up. >_>; Well, sorta. I understand politics now, love the taste of red wine, try to play the stocks, love to debate philosophy, have way too much interest in Theoretical Science (Netflix thinks I am the most boring person on the planet, not a joke! Their suggestions for the "Because you watched [x]" are off the ball wacky. Apparently watching a Stephen Hawking documentary means that I would like to watch American Pie. I'm so boring that they try to offset it by convincing me to watch a comedy I haven't watched since I was 16...I really should watch it again.) and generally enjoy a quiet and boring life...when everyone is watching.

Otherwise I'm obsessed with yaoi (random fact, I'm not a fangirl...I'm just sorta really gay), play video games religiously, surf the web for the weirdest crap, watch MLP like I was 5 again...and really watch every cartoon like that, eat nothing but junk food. Go to the mall and crash through the video game store., Hot Topic, Spencer's, Best Buy and to the tune of "All Star" and all while pretending I'm in an 80's montage. Been my thing since I was in middle school, probably going to die doing something in this. The yaoi, it'll be the yaoi.

And no one should find out, which is why I've decided to post this in a public forum for the world to see.

Same. I cannot even really describe some of the queries I put into search engines (they are not inappropriate, just odd).

Just make sure you keep that image filter active The stuff outside the filter is very disturbing.

Ever since Google made it so that you can't view explicit images without specifically searching for them, I think it's gotten a lot better.

Tumblr, though...if you don't keep that filter active you're gonna find weird stuff.

Really? That's good... because anime used to be cut out I would unblock my searches, so I would google the most normal things and get the weirdest stuff ever.

Tumblr... I browsed that once... accidentally click on the wrong name and your eyes burn...

I haven't had troubles with Google for awhile. Every now and then something strange pops up, but not like it used to.

Hehe...yeah...I'm glad they finally added an explicit filter on there. I was seriously tired of looking up the most innocent words like "fairytale" and coming up with things...not so fairytale-like. XP

Haha I know right? It's like...why would you take up such an important space? The picture I wanted could have gone there!

Thanks to that site, I found out that fanbases--even for some rather sweet and innocent what-have-you's--(Kirby, for example) are not exactly pretty, no offense to people into such (including myself for some of them). Oh, what a lovely Internet we have!

What I stated above is exactly why I do not go onto certain sites anymore; I do not care to see that.

Haha, yes....the Avatar fandom (show, not blue people) is particularly...interesting...without an explicit filter on.

@Poet: To me I just wonder how the heck those two things show up under the same search. It's like, I searched for an apple, not that. K wut? XD

Haha, I had quite the shock when I discovered some of the things people post on Tumblr xD Someone started following me so I looked at their blog, and was greeted by a naked pic of them flashing their lady parts, I was like...o.o is that allowed?! And that was my introduction to the NSFW aspect of Tumblr

I'm still pretty horrified that people can post absolutely anything, and all they need to do is tag it with NSFW. But as I can't personally do anything about all the 13 year olds who are searching for porn gifs on sites like Tumblr, all I can do is be grateful that I can keep them off my dash. ><

Sorta, Tumblr won't allow anything that violates the US Law. So no so paedophilia and bestiality, among other things. They are also cracking down on gore because, really? Do you need to post gore?

Tumblr is also not really interested in hosting porn videos (never really has been, but has gotten a little more adamant about not allowing them), so you need to use third party services.

Oh and their recent change in ToS has made it pretty clear that they aren't too fond of anything that isn't just straight (I don't mean the sexuality) porn. Anything else can GTFO.

It was quite surprising to me as well to find that Tumblr was pretty much an in-the-closet porno site.

Tumblr has a bit of a problem keeping their site...decent for normal people? I believe they need to crack down more on the outright porn, the thinspo blogs and the thinspo blogs disguised as fitblr blogs. They also don't really do anything about hate or harassment, and that's a problem.

But, who am I to tell a freakishly successful site like Tumblr how to govern itself? I'm sure there are reasons they have trouble keeping that stuff under control, but they don't even seem to try.

Of course they don't try...
It probably gives them traffic they otherwise wouldn't have.

You can avoid all this on there though. I really wasn't aware any of it existed, because none of the people I follow fill their blogs with hate, drama or porn. ><

This is true. I avoid them, too, which is why I have had a blog on there for over a year, but I think they still avoid some pretty big problems.

@Poet: You're totally right, honestly. I always forget about that, but it's true.

Like... Everything ehehe.
I color in coloring books.
I love cartoons and cartoon movies.
I have a hoard of stuffed animals, and sleep with at least two each night.
I buy/wear hair clips and jewelry made for kids.
I play Pokemon and pet sites.
My coffee mug has Hello Kitty on it, and so does my Jeep.
I love bubbles and chalk.
I have plenty of clothes with cartoon characters.
Some people think I'm too old to keep my hair pink.
People who say you're too old for something are usually just jealous.
Unless it's like throwing a temper tantrum, they might have a point there. X3
