This... might be a weird question... uh... let me backpedal my brain a bit so people will know why I'm asking... My plan for the caravan master's daughters is that the older one is the daughter of his first wife, and the younger is the daughter of his second wife, and by first and second wives I mean polygamy. I'm not planning on making a big deal of it, but tonight I'm paranoid about offending people-- will anyone be upset if polygamy is implied? I don't just mean you guys, I mean anybody on Mene.

I've been playing around with Primarily text layouts recently. Not that we should make a rule that everyone needs to do either all text titles or picture titles.

Although for Post order, I agree that I prefer stuff to be in this order:

3. Rules/Prizes
4. CORE MATERIAL
5. FAQs
6. Reserved

Oh, good point, Libra! Maybe one person should be in charge of all the text titles, just so things will look uniform throughout? Keep them simple so that person doesn't have to do a lot of work, of course.

I mean, it's part of the story, and since there are people who chose to lives that way, I don't see why it would offend people... Now if you were insinuating that the family was Morman and polygamists, then we might have a problem.

No, like I say, I'm just being really paranoid tonight about offending people. ^^;

I think it will be FINE, hon. Polygamy and harems were common around the time that we're theming this around. So, I think it will be great.

I feel silly worrying about it, because I'm not really even gonna make a big deal of it... blah. *shuts up about her weird brain malfunctions. XD*

I know I've been looking through Cosmicfoxkitty, Xavirne, and zigbigadorlube's test thread, and seeing all the stuff they have posted and stuff makes me want to play around with layouts ^_^

This kind of thing just makes a thread look more polished, which I LOVE seeing.

Like the fortune thread & wish granting thread might have something more mystical looking, while word games might look something more that reminds you have a scrabble looking title layout?

Maybe we should standardize font? Just to keep a theme together?

this could be interesting. I sure haven't decided on a title yet. and my thread/post planning lagged behind working on all the art.

as for the pst title ideas. If someone plans all that out for me, i shall love you forever <3 obviously i'd do the content for my part. but boy am i feeling back logged right now.

I decided I wanted to do a swimsuit competition. I know, more summer themed than desert wind-ish, but that's what I've decided to do ^_^

I was thinking like a runway show kind of name, and then each of us can have our theme names. I might go with... I don't know, Oasis beachwear contest? xD

I enjoy seeing visually pleasing avatars, regardless if that means super layered, or simple and sweet. Color coordination is a big plus, but I rank creativity even above that. Follow the directions, let the creative juices flow, and you'll score top points with me!

Do you want to co judge a 4th, group contest entry? cause i'm looking at my notes i found, and one of the ideas had been to have a "make a character that could have been in one of scher's tales" and i bet it could be group done. like i think Aladdin's stories are from Scher. and I'm sure people could come up with good avis for that :P in a group setting even.

Haha, yay! I know one of the other threads had been themed around the oasis, perhaps the hangout thread? I was planning on tying in some blurb about Chelexa and Shersljfisjofdd giving me the idea to host the swimsuit theme, so that I could keep a connection between our sticky threads ^_^ That's just a thought, I imagine it'll be harder to tie in once I actually make the introduction

Also, I noticed we don't have a banner on the front page Wyrmskyld: how would you like to use this one? I'm gonna make a smaller one too.

Are we each going to have a theme for inside the contest? Like one does colors one does theme ect? We might need more than one post for our core material.

I don't know that we'll really need an FAQ thing for it. Hopefully our descriptions of the avatar contests would be enough.
