Ah, that doesn't sound like a good environment. Why not just transfer schools?
can't afford it. xD
I'm paying all my loans back now. Which sucks with no money but eh.
Now if only I could find all the menewsha users who are from New York... and get them to be willing to meet with my husband.. in hopefully a couple weeks when he hopefully has this new job with a wonderful... life insurance company. T.T It's all comission based, but he will be able to sell anywhere in NY. And I'm going to be his unpaid secretary keeping all the clients straight so that we can get a system down to get the most customers possible. That way we get an awesome income.

But we would have to drive to meet with the clients. ANYWHERE in NY. xD so ugh. this is going to be crazy. I'm crossing my fingers so much right now.

on the purpose of this thread though. Do we have a new list of what items are now left? So that we can give out additional prizes. for things like "1001 naps. " or whatever it was, the clever threads.

Oh I meant from what you already had taken. Not taking some new classes. Of course, it wouldn't matter if New York's substitute requirements are different from Texas's.
Good luck with your husband's life insurance business! Hopefully that helps!
Oh, and apply for a deferment on your loans. As long as you're actively trying to find a job, you should be able to get one.

Wyrmskyld hasn't finished giving out her prizes for the Whodunnit thread yet, so we aren't QUITE ready to hand out the other prizes. We'll get that as soon as that's finished up.

nope.. my life is in a hole right now. The student loan company blew me off saying i couldn't get a deferment , for whatever reason... so when I called to set up for a financial hardship, income based repayment plan they said "uh no.. you have to have an income to get that" so they FORCED me to do a forbearance and still acrue massive amounts of interest...

and I hate the world. they're only here to kick people that are down.

I have 2 dollars in my account and 500 about to be taken out.

We can't even put Hubby's student loans on deferment because they went to debt collectors. And that whole thing is BS. because he had to leave the school he was at because the teachers weren't accredited. and they were just basically bullying the students and not actually teaching them. and the school shifted around peoples majors and just a huge scandal. But we can't sue unless we can find enough of the classmates to work with us to state that the teachers were fake.
and just...

everything is going so terribly right now. And I've been trying so darn hard to stay happy. But how the hell am I suppossed to do that when everything that can cheer people up costs money. and money i don't have. and art isn't sellilng. and no one even hires me. cause apparantly I'm a terrible artist. and even though i had a job for 3-4 years and the only reason I left was to go to college, i didn't even get fired. so i've got fantastic work ethic. But this world just sucks and doesn't hire anyone unless they already have a job and they're stealing someone elses employee. or you have to have a masters degree. or ONLY a highschool or less. because they only want to hire the people they can get away with paying less, or the people that are absolutely tip top.

No one is ever there to help out anyone else. And when you DO try to help others. You just get kicked in the nads because being kind is wrong. and you get pushed down and bullyed and abused. I fucking hate the world. When when does this torment end. I just want to be able to do things for others. I want to be able to have enough to survive. enough to pay bills. and than be able to have some extra to go buy burgers for the homeless. or send a computer to a friend in need. like... WHY.. why is it us good people that gotta suffer so much.
i want to do everything I can for my kids. But that ability isn't even there.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry. And I totally understand the problem of being both over AND underqualified at the same time. It is SO FREAKING FRUSTRATING. Before I got into substitute teaching, no one would hire me because I was in grad school and thus "over qualified" and my masters degree is essentially worthless unless I want to work in government or on a ranch. It's why I live with my parents at 28. I wish I knew how to help you. For now, you can vent to me any time you want.

Plus then you wouldn't have to spend money on gas or child care.

That's what I thought. I mean, if you get a job that doesn't pay much but that you have to leave the house for, you're essentially just earning enough to pay for the gas and the childcare for the job. Which is kind of pointless. So a work from home job would probably be better for now.

This might help you some:
Work at Home Moms: Advice on Parenting, Telecommuting

And one of the major companies that employs at home call center workers is here:

There are reviews that say that they don't really train you very well and they're strict about reviews and background noise, but it may be worth it just for the time being.

Tutoring is nice that way, because I can just go to the nearby coffee shop. But it's not really all that reliable.
