I looked around and I don't think I'm making a repeat thread. Tell me if I'm wrong.

I've seen so many unique usernames here and I'm curious how you came up with yours?

Me? Well I read a story called The Fruit Called Grapefruit (I do not recommend by the way). That's it. That's the story.

My usernames are highly uncreative. My first was a complete copy of a friend's from another forum a long time ago, my second was a manga character name, my third was Nightmare which I took for not much of a reason, and my fourth is my current one because my favorite characters from anything tends to be one of the 'baddies' or not one of the good guys.

Ant you have gone through quite the evolution haven't you. So may names.

idek. This isn't my original username. I got inspired to change it to Dystopia while I was reading Fahrenheit 451.

Also: The maid combo in Anty's siggy is killing me.

It's only four names.

I think there was someone who changed theirs over ten times...

I thought of something like this with the handshake, but with an actual handshake, of course.

Mine started with my nickname "Aloo" which means potato. Then zombie because I just love all that supernatural, mythological stuff (and because SuperVampirePotatoe seemed cliche and SuperFaeriePotatoe seemed ). And then I added "Super" just because

I can't tell you where it came from because it popped into my head back when I was making yet another mule on Gaia back in 2006.

I am a creature of the internet.... Actually the name came from a chan probe on this site way back when it first came about. I was getting tired of spamming and trolling Gaia and Yahoo (not really, that's still fun!). There was a probe list on what was the /i boards, and I checked out this one. Picked a suitably channer name, Longcat was already taken, so I went with ~~LOOOOOOONGCAT~~ and eventually shortened it down to ~LONGCAT~

I wanted to make an entirely new username that I'd never used anywhere else. And I thought that just calling myself 'Mage' was too arrogant; I'm not a master, not by a long shot. I'm just a little mage.

Your name reminds me of RPGs. I really like the magic characters a lot. I was more a healer/cleric/priest not a mage~

I don't think she was forced. If I remember right is was more complained about her name breaking code

I wasn't forced to shorten the name, true it did break the pages I posted on need cause it caused things to indent. But the tea all radon... The real reason for the name shortening was because at the time I was mostly homeless and was using my phone for internet connections and my username was becoming too difficult for me to b button mash in everytime.

My name is a Monty Python reference. At one point I was wanting a new handle to go by online, and somehow I hit upon using one of the cardinals from their Spanish Inquisition sketch as a name. I decided Cardinal Biggles was the funniest sounding of the three options (plus he's arguably the nicest), so I went with that. And here we are.

"CK" is a combination of the first initials of my IRL nickname (Chella) and my artist nickname (Klawzie).

I played Hamlet in high school, and it's weird but for some reason the name (less so the character) really stuck with me. It started out as just a username and occasional nickname, but these days I prefer to go by it all the time.

As for my Mene name, I've thought about removing the "Spamlet" part, but this is the exact name I signed up with here 5 years ago. So even though I find the rhyming a little embarrassing, HamletSpamlet is just nostalgic for me.

I think HamletSpamlet is pretty catchy. :)

Thank you. xD I assume you mean my IRL nickname! So I will mention that it's pronounced "Shell-la". (People always mistake it with a "CH" sound like "Cheese". It took me quite awhile to train a boyfriend out of that. u_u; )


And I like your name, Hamlet! Though I always drop the "Spamlet" part, it has a nice rhythm to it and lets people know you're as fun as you are. xD
