The world ended decades ago. What's left are the undead and those with the will to survive.

A group of survivors have been driven out of the only home they knew. Their compound in the heart of a crumbling city has been overrun. With zombies clawing behind them, they flee into the wilderness and face the horrors of the post-apocalyptic world. On the road they encounter not just more zombies, but bandits, wild animals, and even a ruthless feudal society.

Ideas
Just a few ideas right now in my mind, feel free to chime in!

• A colony of survivors have been holding out in their compound in the ruins of a city for many years
  Our characters have to abandon the compound once zombies somehow overrun the place
  Unaccustomed to the world outside the compound, much less the city, our survivors have to come to terms with reality
  On the dangerous road out of the city and into the wilderness they encounter their first basic trials
  Eventually they are ambushed by a group of Knights in steel armor. As if things weren't weird enough they seemed to have traveled back in time. But they haven't.
  They are captured and taken to an old castle where a society of survivors have reverted back to a more medieval lifestyle. Rather than cling desperately to the modern way of life like our characters, these people have embraced the dark ages fully
  Sooner or later they have to escape and get back on the road

I also wanted the RP to be "chapter based", in that we have set goals for the story that help guide us through the RP story. So basically it'd be a few chapters we clear.
1) Home
- Exposition
- our characters get expelled from the compound and leave the safety of the city forever
2) The Road
- the harsh wilderness and all its threats
3) Feudalism
- captured by the medieval society

Actualy Fuedalism would work perfectly in this sort of.scenario, but that's different.

I'm a more of a 'sudden idea guy' and if I get an idew, I tend to get ahead of myself.

I tend to rush with ideas.

What ideas did you have in particular? You mentioned something about feudalism being appropriate?

In a world like this fuedalism. would actually work. With the leader being the one with the most skill, in battle and in knowledge, instead of political power, or a born monarchy. The hierarchy would be relatively easy to understand, and since this is a zombie rp, it would cut out one of the dangerous parts of feudalism: assassination to gain power.

o-o you'd basically be dealing with people, on level with that of the Samurai, in fuedal era Japan..

Cow told me about this and it sounds AWESOME! My only hold up right now from creating a character sheet to send in is I don't want to commit to something I won't be able to post multiple times a day or maybe even a week. :/ I don't know how much you want in a post or how often you want a response. If your cool with someone who posts 2 paragraphs vs a novel and will try their best to post at least once a week I'd be happy to join. I completely understand needing someone more reliable though. :3
