So I thought I'd start a book club. In my start up thread it got a good response. So for the month of October we'll be reading Hallow Earth by John and Carol Barrowman. Come November we will all discuss it. So go forth and read.

I did just look for my library card, wasn't where I thought it might be, but there's another place I can check. I doubt like hell that it will matter though, it was years ago that I got it, so they shouldn't still have my name in their system, and I'm pretty sure it was before I lived where I do now.

They might even have a new card system now to be honest. That happened to me last time I went back to the library after not having gone in a long time. They ended up having to issue me a new card because my old card wasn't compatible with the new system, LOL.

I can't wait to reread it.

Cora, not sure if I can actually do it - but I do have it for my Nook, and I know that there is a way to change up the file so that it can be read on different e-readers, and it's free. If you want, I can try to email you the book (I have it for my Nook). :] [That is, if I can figure out how to find it on my computer. LOL.]

I'm wondering if maybe the book would be eligible to rent via Amazon prime. My fiancé was able to read a few books that way but the selection was pretty meager so I doubt they would have that book...

I know for androids there is a kindle app so that you can read kindle books on android ereaders.

I didn't go to the library I intended to, but my walk to the doctors' and back was enough for me. The intent is there now though, this thread has implanted that in my head, so when body is being cooperative I will go to the library. So thank you Kirin for setting me on this road. \o/
