I'm so used to playing male characters i'm not sure whether to be the prince or princess for this one. Which would you be more comfortable with? I do have a Prince character who is your typical heir, smart, strong, honourable, respectful and kind, but i also have a spoilt princess who's a bit on the evil side, she's attractive and greedy and will try to manipulate anybody to get what she wants, even her father, who i suppose could be half responsible for her spoiled attitude. And of course the thing she wants most is to become Queen. But then she's usually medieval and this one will be Egyptian so ill try and change that a bit haha. Maybe make her bitter because she won't be Queen of Egypt so she wants to be the Medieval Queen instead.

Not quite sure where to start probably when the trades are starting to get stolen more often? as for place anywhere really, we can start in the castle of each place discussing the dwindling trade from thieves unknown.

I recon i could do -

Male King
Female Princess
Male Mage
Male Knight (unless you want to have me on the Egypt side, i just figure it might be good to have the heir and the knight/warrior on opposite sides so they can have conversations and be a kind of adviser)
Female Rogue

I do like the sounds of this princess. Oooooo. That sounds like a perfect divide for me. I'm also more used to playing males, but it will be fun to have a chance to play a girl XD

So that leaves me with...

Egypt side:
Male Pharaoh: Maybe an adult Nemiah?
Female Warrior: I have a perfect girl for this. Zeta.


Medieval side:
Male Prince
Mage: ... Maybe I'll make a girl, just to change things up gender-wise.

If you'd rather have a male mage i'm fine with that i have a female too she's an elf with immortality cause her main shifting form is a Phoenix, it's more of a curse though cause if she dies as a Phoenix she is born again, like a baby xD

I need to practice both of them really my other mages are pretty much finished but these two are new so i've hardly used them. She has already had a previous life that reached Elven adulthood but then she died and was born again where she's now reached adulthood again xD

She has other shapes though, mostly eagles, birds, (pegasus in my story) and perhaps for the sake of it if it gets nasty a dragon or fire breathing drake?

I've got a few things to do the next few hours but when im done ill try and make a few profiles for you and see how they work so i can tweak as needed.

Ah profiles, I don't tend to make many of those myself XD But I will endeavor to try. Though I think you might know a few of my favourites already just from sneaking around the Pharaoh's Daughter :P

I to have a few things to do over the next few hours. Not sure where you live but here in Canada it's Thanksgiving.

Girl or boy Mage is up to you. I will do the opposite of whichever you prefer. Although, just FYI, I'm not against a little boy X boy action either :P

Oh gosh so it is! Happy thanksgiving! I'm in the UK but i usually stay up late so i should be on a few hours at least at the same time as you.

Oh i wouldn't make big ones or anything it's just so i can keep track of names and appearances (im not gonna go looking for pictures though it annoys me haha)

So as we have it you're female warrior will be travelling with my female princess and your mage
Maybe you having a male mage will even that out a little bit.

Then my male warrior will be travelling with your male prince and my female mage.

There could always be a sexual friendship on either side there at some point before any of the serious stuff happens. I have to be honest though i've never written m x m or f x f but i guess its not much different, unless its illegal in the plot or something. It might be more frowned upon in my medieval city so it might have to be in secret but it has been known for Egyptians to be bi-sexual so you know ;)

So lemme think....

Medieval side -
King Ulric - 50ish
Soldier - Probably a Knight or Captain so he's at higher rank - Matthias - 30ish
Mage - Alesia - Elf Shape-shifter employed by the Royal Family, and link to the Elven Kingdom if need be.

Egyptian Side -
Princess - Perhaps Maia/ Mae (May) - 15/16/17 (suitable marriage age for a medieval prince right?)

Thief/Rogue - Rohesia (or Ro by friends) - beautiful but dangerous, originally from Medieval City - 21 - highly skilled with daggers, distraction, and manipulation. Ran from an abusive family life when she was 11 and was taken by thieves known as "Catchers" (they sometimes take homeless children and orphans to train)

I totally missed that hun of course you can do that. I'll put Alesia on the Egyptian side then.

So that means its all female Egyptians during the first travel and all male Medieval.

As for the names i was flicking through a generator and found a few that stuck out for me:

Lochbrook, Morwick, Kaldar, or we can just use my world name Eldonia (i like calling them Eldonian's hehe)

Infact, Morwick Castle in the Eldonian capital sounds about right, right?

Fantastic! Maybe the medieval side is more sexist than the Egyptian? XP

Obviously Alesia won't be an Elf if she's Egyptian, just seeing if there's a better name for her.

You are more than welcome to make the first post if you want i think we are pretty much ready, start wherever we have characters in all 3 places anyway :)

I still have a lot of work to do, i've constantly got the thesaurus open thats why my posts take a while at times, i keep repeating the same words and i need to learn moooaarrr. I do read a lot of fantasy set in medieval settings so i'd like to think i'll keep getting better :)

OH, and Wilbur Smith just released a new installment of his Egyptian series, he usually writes fiction set in Africa during the wars but he did write 3 set in Ancient Egypt around a slave called Taita that ended up turning Warlock, adding some cool fantasy bits in. SO im going to be reading that shortly! It's also set around the time of the Hyksos invasion so imagination can run wild cause we don't know all the facts about that war yet. :D

My routine changes alot depending on the family, my mum had a lot of health issues and she's in bed most of the day then needs help in the evening and often in to the early hours.

I used to work full time and others helped out but im between jobs again to help out a bit more so my routines fell back in to nocturnalism xD

My usual is getting up around 3pm and going to bed around 4/5am, so i probably fit your routine xD
