They actually totally are scary! I tired it once with my mom and sister, and none of us are particularly superstitious, but we all got creeped out.

i have one.. my brother and i used it and it said that "three *some word* " when we asked who was around us.
we looked up the word and it meant spirits....
it was also spelled slightly wrong like something had tried to sound it out. the house has been investigated and there are three clear spirits here.

One is a small child
One is a man
and one an older woman.
