Oh yeah, definitely. I have met people that are extreme about it and rather socially different and awkward. So I know where people are coming from when they find it weird. I don't obsess over it or cosplay or anything, which is usually the side that people find more strange about it. People wouldn't know unless I told them Hide my love!

Alec and Julia are teens. Chi is less than two years old, but I think your chibi style fits children beautifully anyway! Alec and Chi have the same eye color, that same blue-green shade from the other art. Do you want a reference for it again? It's in the art request thread if not. :3 Julia's can follow the avatar palate, that intense blue shade.

I tried to get an old Wacom tablet to work, and I couldn't. So I'm hoping a description works.

I would like Alec on the left, Chi in the middle, Julia to the right. They're all in close. Alec is making the "eye pull down face" (http://i.stack.imgur.com/1wU4S.jpg), but happy, mischievous. Chi should be trying to do the same expression, but with both hands, being unable due to being too little. She should have a huge grin on her face! Julia should be smiling softly, amused, with both eyes open. She's a gentle personality, whereas Chi and Alec are more... excitable, I suppose.

Oh wow. I never heard of it. It looks like a boy/girl relationship in the trailer. I always have a hard time getting much of the feel for Miyazaki movies from the trailers. I don't generally find the trailers very interesting, but love the movies. haha It says the Poppy one came out in America last year. I think an english dubbed is available. The trailer I watched was in english.

It wad down to my knees at the end of the summer, but I trimmed it back a few inches to keep it healthy It's around mid-thigh right now. It is certainly a lot to keep up with. @__@;;

The area that I am from has a large Hmong population in the town over, and I made friends with a handful when I went into a special summer college program with them. They're amazingly nice, but sadly still usually just hang out with each other. :( I wish I was able to spend time with them, but they're back home now anyway. There are actually very few asians in my classes. And mostly just guys. I spoke with one the other day, but he doesn't like Miyazaki films at all, and he hates animals, so I don't forsee us being friends.

Yeah, I generally just call anything Miyazaki works on a Miyazaki film Even though a good portion are Ghibli. She's a ghost? I was reading the comments and I guess that's what people are saying. It looks a little sad. The song sounded sad, but I liked it.
