Joker chuckled and patted her hand.

Hours later Lori woke to see Lena holding Martha laughing as Martha grabbed hold of Damien's finger. Her heart swelled as she took in her family though she wasn't sure what Damien thought of her she cared for him for a reason she didn't quite understand.

Bruce was smiling as he watched the scene, taking a few pictures here and there. He noticed when Lori woke up, and smiled at her. "Hello, love. How are you doing?" He asked.

Lori shrugged. "I've had worse." She chuckled sitting up a little "much worse."

"That's both good and bad to hear." Bruce said. "Guess what? Something rather interesting happened while you were asleep." He added with a smirk.

"Oh really?" Lori turned from the scene of the three children to look over at him. "Dare I ask?"

Bruce nodded. "I think you'll be interested in this." He said. "See, I happened to overhear a doctor saying that another birth was happening. The woman's name was Gemini, and she was brought in by an unknown but distinctively pale man." He told her.

"GEMINI!" Lori lurched to her feet like she wasn't tired at all the nurse squawked but Lori ignored her shoving on her slippers. "Lets find her." she took Martha from Lena who blinked. "Gemmy!" she called looking around. "my mother is a spaz." Lena laughed.

Joker who had dozed off heard a familiar voice and woke with a groan. "Oh no." he grimaced then looked up in time to see Lori plop herself down on Gemini's bed and lean close to her face. "Gemmy!"

Bruce jumped up, half to stop Lori and half to follow her. "Lori, wait! You can't just- ugh!" He sighed and ran after his spastic wife.

Gemini groaned and opened her eyes. "Who dares disturb my slumber?" She mumbled crankily, until she realized that it was Lori. She sat up fast. "LORI! Oh my gosh I wanted so badly to come see you but I was stuck in bed and then I went into labor and I was so tired and how are you? How's your baby? Is it a boy or a girl?" She rambled happily.

Lori held up Martha for her to see. "A precious baby girl say hi Martha." Martha cooed at her. "How about you?" she scanned the room. "TWO!" she gasped as the nurse came in with them. "Oh my." she chuckled at wiggled her eyebrows at Gemini. "Some have a little to much time on there hands?" Joker actually managed to blush softly and look at the floor groaning again as he saw Bruce.

Gemini squealed at the adoreableness of Lori's baby girl. "Oh, she's so cute!" She gushed. "As for me, I ended up with twins, as you can see. And no, we didn't have too much time. We only did it once before I got pregnant, so I guess we're both just really fertile." She said proudly. "The boy was born first, at midnight. His name is Calcifer. And the girl was born at 12:13. Her name is April."

Bruce walked in, saw the Joker, and instantly moved in between him and Lori. "Lori, keep our daughter away from him." He said stonily. "Hello, Gemini. So, why is it you're in here a month and a half early?" He asked, before receiving his answer in the form of twins. "Oh my God. Two. You had twins. Oh, God..." He clearly wasn't happy- he even looked like he was going to pass out.

"Hush you there's nothing he can do besides he's uncle Joker know." Lori shook her head at his face sighing. "Your not even taking in the fact that there half Gemmys are you?"

Joker scowled annoyed with the way he was treated by Bruce. "There just babies they can't do much." He looked startled that Lori called him a uncle.

Bruce scowled. "That doesn't mean I have to trust him- which I don't." He said, recovering from his shock. "And I'm not worried about what the babies can or can't do. I just wasn't expecting two of them. I would have reacted the same way if you had twins." He defended himself.

Gemini just rolled her eyes. "So what you're saying is, you actually think of me like family." She teased. Then she looked over at Joker. "Really, though? I just finished telling you that they were harmless." She said with a chuckle. "Anyway, Lori, do you want to hold them? And can I hold Martha?"

Joker shrugged looking at the ground. "Well I was just using your words."

Lori ignored the men and handed Martha to Gemini. The girl started to fuss but stopped when she saw the twins being carried over by her mother.

Gemini just chuckled and gently took Martha. "Oh, look at you. You're so cute!" She gushed. "You're gonna have to watch her, Lori. She'll be a heartbreaker someday." She added. Meanwhile, the twins seemed rather interested in the new person holding them. They both stared intently at Lori, their unblinking attention almost creepy...almost. The cute tuned down the creepy pretty well.

Martha cooed softly at Gemini and reached up grabbing hold of her hair frowning a little. "Well she may break hearts they'll have to get threw Bruce first...she'll never have a boyfriend." She chuckled smiling at the twins. "Hi there."

"Damn right they will." Bruce said. "Although if she has it rough, imagine what poor April will go through. Martha will have suitors that get turned away, but with April, guys will be too scared to even come near her."

Gemini chuckled. "That's true. And their siblings probably won't let anyone near them, either. But that's why we probably won't tell anyone exactly who the twin's parents are. Not until they're older, anyway." She said, making sure Martha didn't choke on the hair. April just blinked at Lori, as if trying to figure out what she was. Calcifer smiled back, clearly the more cheerful of the two.

Lori nodded as Joker frowned a little. "They'll know you of course but the man is best left out of the picture." "Like I'm not even here." Joker mumbled a little annoyed though he knew it was true. "Poor children...poor Joker." she smiled at him. "what do you think Bruce? Shall you make nice to Uncle Joker."

Gemini smiled a little. "I'm sorry, dear, I didn't mean to exclude you. But...do you agree that, at least while they're in school, we should use your fake name? If you're not okay with that, then we won't do it. I just thought it would be better for them." She said to Joker, feeling a little bad for making that decision without him.

Bruce grunted, obviously having trouble with this idea. Eventually, he sighed. "Fine, I'll be civil. But that doesn't mean I have to like him, and I still don't trust him." He answered stubbornly.

"Of course I'm fine with that however I won't hid who I am to them not even when there babies." Joker sighed softly and patted her hand gentle. "I hope there not ashamed of me." he grimaced.

"Alright you." Lori sighed "But you'll be seeing him more so I can visit Gemini with the baby." she gave him a look that told him not to argue with her.

Gemini nodded. "No, I never expected you to hide from them. That would be wrong, for you and for them." She said. "And of course I'm not ashamed of you. I love you."

Bruce crossed his arms. "Fine." He said. "Can I hold my daughter now?" He asked, seeming to have no interest in actually holding the twins.

"Do you two love me?" Joker took April from Lori. "I hope so." he smiled at her.

"I think she liked Gemini to much." Lori chuckled watching there baby babble at Gemini.

April smiled at her father, making happy sounds. "I think that means yes." Gemini said with a chuckle.

Bruce sighed. "Well...then I'll hold her baby. I guess I'm their uncle, so I might as well get to know them." He said, reaching for Calcifer- since April was already taken.

Lori let Bruce take Cal sitting so she could watch the boys hold the babies. "They look so cute holding babies."

Gemini chuckled. "They do, don't they? Who would have thought." She said, smiling fondly at both men.

Bruce took Cal gently and held him. Calcifer looked up at him in awe, then smiled happily. Bruce smiled back. "This one looks like you, Gemini." He noticed.

"I know. April looks more like her father, and Cal looks like me. I think it's cute." Gemini said.

Bruce nodded. "April is a whole lot cuter than her father, though." He said. If one didn't know any better, they would think he was actually teasing the Joker.

"I always knew Bruce would be cute with children he never had the time to insure that he could hold them." Lori sighed dramatically.

Joker decided to ignore the tease for know. "Martha's taken a liking to Cal." Indeed Martha was trying to baby bable to Cal.
