Bruce chuckled. "Guilty as charged. But, I got three great kids out of it, so I'm not complaining." He said. "Now, I wanted to talk to you. I assume you already know about how I came clean to the whole city. This, along with the new baby, naturally means that I have no choice but to retire as Batman. The only problem with that is that I can't leave the city unprotected, and we both know that the police aren't any match for the villains around here. So, my only option is to find a replacement. The first person I thought of was you, Damian. You have trained your whole life with me, and you know the job better than anyone else. You're young, you're strong, and you're my son. There's really no one better to take over as Batman. But...that's only if you want to. Keep in mind that you don't have to if you don't want to. I won't force you."

"Of course I will! I've been waiting for this forever I can't wait to stick this in Tim's face." Damien looked like the cat who ate the robin.

Bruce sighed. "That's not what this is about, Damian. And you can't tell too many people about it. But...you already know all of that. I won't lecture you, but please remember that Batman is expected to behave in a certain way, and there are rules. I don't expect you to act exactly the way I did, obviously..." He sighed again. It seemed like he didn't really know what to say. Then, he smiled. "You know, ever since I first met you, I've imagined this day. I won't lie: there were times when I wasn't sure if it would happen. You've come a long way. I want you to know that I'm proud of you, son."

Damien blushed then loomed at his feet grinning. "I won't be exactly like you dad but I'll try my best to uphold the batman name. Timothy is going to be made you didn't pick him after all the times he's filled in...Richard will just shrug."

Bruce shrugged and smirked. "Well, neither of them are my son. Unfortunately for them, family comes first." He said. "Now, why don't you go get some rest? You're on the job tonight."

"Sweet!" Damien raced off grabbing Lena's hand. "Come on partner." Lena blinked as she was dragged confused.

Bruce laughed and headed back to see Lori, shaking his head. "Lori, I have to tell you what just happened." He said as he walked into the room.

Lori was asleep baby craddled in her arms also asleep.

Joker woke to crying with a groan he rolled over before remembering why he was hearing it. "I'm a coming." He stumbled to the crib yawning. "Hush know." He picked them up.

Bruce smiled and went over to the bed, laying down next to Lori and cuddling her. I'll tell her later... He thought.

Gemini woke up almost instantly, her maternal instincts kicking in already. When she got to the babies, Joker was already there. "Are they okay?" She asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Joker asked feeding them her brow furrowed.

Lori grumbled while Martha fussed in her sleep eyes opening as she started crying. Lori groaned and shifted her around. "Should put you in your crib and change you." She didn't seem to realize Bruce was there.

Gemini blinked a few times, trying to stay awake. "No reason. I heard crying, so I asked. I think I'm half asleep..." She mumbled. Everything seemed fine.

Bruce, who was just drifting off, opened his eyes. "I'll take her, if you want." He offered, speaking quietly so that he didn't startle her.

Lori still started then smiled. "Feel free." She handed over Martha who glared up at him.

Joker smirked a little. "Go back to sleep silly."

Bruce smiled down at his daughter. "Come on, little one. It's time for a fresh diaper, and then bed." He said softly, taking her to change her up.

Gemini nodded sleepily. "Okay. Be good, kids." She said with a little smile, before walking away.

Joker shook his head. "I love her you know." He grinned at the twins carrying them to the palor.

Lori watched them before falling back asleep. Martha fussed the whole time he was changing her being difficult on purpose or so it seemed.

Cal just made a gurgling sound and sucked on his fist happily.

Bruce took it all in stride. If difficult children bothered him, he would have given up on Damian a long time ago. He finished changing her, and decided to rock her for a bit to calm her down. He even sang a little.

Martha fell silent listening to his voice slowly falling asleep in his arms.

Joker sat in the rocker they had bought. "I'm going to get somethings wrong at first aren't I?" He smiled at them. "I'll do my best."

Once Martha was asleep, Bruce placed her gently into her crib and covered her with the blanket. Then he went back to bed, laying next to Lori tiredly.

Cal made a gentle cooing noise, almost like he was responding. April yawned, making a tiny squeaking sound in the process.

"Cute." Joker grinned then blinked "I'm going soft...only for you two."

Lori curled against him mumbling in her sleep.

Both twins giggled, apparently delighted to hear this.

Bruce placed one arm over her, drawing her close as he fell asleep.

Joker rocked the twins watching tv as he did starting to fall back asleep.

Both twins fell asleep within minutes of each other.

Hours later or what felt like moments to them Martha cried from her crib. Lori woke with a start "Baby." she yawned and stumbled out of bed collecting the girl. "You hungry?" she sat in the rocker to feed her.

((Oh, shoot. Should we skip to the next day?))

((Sure.))
The next day brought Lori awake with a groan. "Bruce!" She smacked his chest. "Your turn." She yawned.

Joker woke in the rocker still holding the babies. "Whoops."

Bruce woke with a grunt. "Wha-? Oh. Okay, I'm up." He mumbled, getting up to go tend to Martha.

Gemini walked in to check on the babies and saw them all there. "Did you fall asleep there? That's dangerous, they could have fallen!" She rushed over to check and see if the twins were okay. Calcifer was still asleep, but April was staring up at her happily. "Oh, they're okay. Alright, now that my "crisis mode" is off...this is adorable." She pulled a camera from nowhere and took a picture of the scene.
