I am very sorry, hummy. I tried to be active but it is not working for me this event. If you would like some background, my real life situation is extremely chaotic right now. There is such a work overload in my real life currently. I should have gone to bed hours ago, but it has been this way for the past few weeks where I just have too much work piling on and I don't get enough sleep ever. My brain is fighting against burnout from thinking too hard and too much and for too long, and my body is suffering from stress and lack of sleep and inconsistent meals due to all the work.
I will try to be more active tomorrow if I can just get some of this work done. I know that tomorrow is the last day of the event, so I will definitely try to come online and post in RAK and host more questions for my contest. Hopefully that is okay with you. I definitely would love to see RAK continue to succeed and help others.
i'm sorry you are having family issues
i hope things work our for you, sweetie
sorry it's hard for me to read that all
it's been such a long day eye killin'
I need to get off now as the screen is killing my headache, which is lingering and thankfully I think almost gone but I don't want to risk it coming back. I just needed to pull that forward. :]
If there was only one language in the world, that would make my major pointless. :P
But you know a universal language now, how useful is that!
I needed you at work this past week. We had some deaf teenagers at the beginning of the week and it seems they have spread the word and we had two more families come in on tuesday, they're all lovely, i just wish i could say more to them than simple hand signs and pointing at the menu :(

Oh, if there was a universal language in the world.. wouldn't that mean that technically there'd be two languages -- a universal spoken language and a universal signed language?
Awww! I wish I knew British sign so I could teach you some things to say, but ASL and BSL are totally different. I do know the Alphabet, would that be something that could help, even though it is not a lot, it is something? I learned it via youtube. :]

lol, guess i was a bit slow on that XD
Yeah, I'm a Deaf Studies major, fluent in American Sign.
Ok, really going - my head is starting to kill me. I've been fighting a headache all day due to me being stupid and attempting to have an orange this morning.
Yep! And that'd make it easier for me as then I could go around, and meet people from all over and we would know the same language, instead of people from different countries that all know different languages, because every country has it's own signed language. :]

if only they had something universal, then I would be a lot more tempted to learn it >.<

I did have a grapefruit this morning, and some oatmeal tonight - both of which I threw up (sorry if that's tmi). I'm drinking water to stay hydrated, so far I've been fine. I've also been sleeping a lot.

Mmmhmm - I don't know all the variations but between British Sign and American sign - British Sign is two handed, where as American Sign is done one handed - with the alphabet. :]
