How are you, Cole? Still playing GTA?

Sleepy, Kirin?
How's the weather there? Cooling down much?

Been taking mostly a break by getting addicted to an MMO. Going to go back to GTA this Tuesday once the new update hits with cool new Online stuff. So there's that.

But i've been meh lately. Been busy mostly with stuff. Not much else. And why are you okay? Okay isn't that good.

Cole's dislike for hippies is amusing.

I don't mind hippies. Except when the smell like weed.

That's because they wear tie-dye shirts.

I lived in Ann Arbor, so I've experienced them first hand.

What state you originally from? I feel bad that you even lived in Michigan. They have Detroit. The worst we have is Akron.

I was born in Virginia, but we moved a few times; navy brat. We moved to northern Michigan
in '97/'98 to be closer to my mom's side of the family. Been a Michigander every since

I don't mind it, as much as I whine about the cold long winters and the sometimes humid end of summer
/ beginning of fall (especially allergies, they drive me crazy)- I'll take that over tornadoes, hurricanes,
earthquakes & other natural disasters. Of course it probably matters some where in Michigan you live.

I'm right by the pinky- the bay that creates the dip between the ring finger & pinky of the mitten is Grand
Traverse Bay, I live in TC. Not anywhere as bad as Detroit, it's a decent sized city & a beautiful place to live.

Fitting i'd get to now know a Navy brat after getting deeply addicted to an MMO about naval ships for the past few months.

Lol We didn't move nearly as much as some other families. Maybe 3-4 times max, and it
was mainly when I was younger. I only switched elementary schools....two times total?

My dad got to go a lot of cool places though and would always bring us back stuff, like Coke
cans printed in the different lanuages, etc. He also liked to collect banks from all over.

What was your dad trained for? What ship did he serve on? Did he like it?

And question for you missy: Why haven't you moved out of Michigan to the winning state of Ohio?

Uh, I don't know all the details. I know he did techy stuff, mechanical, operations, etc.
I believe it was the USS Nimitz CVN68. I can't remember if he ever served on another.
I was born in Newport News VA, which is close to where I grew up, Norfolk VA~

Yeah, my dad is a proud veteran. Wears his numerous navy baseball-hats. Tells us funny
stories now & then from his days in the navy. It was hard on my mom with him being gone
a lot. I have three sisters. He was there for all of our births except for my youngest sister.

We used to visit him when he was stationed at home, got to go on the base and eat in the ships' mess hall.

Cause I like Michigan? And all of my intermediate family is up here, I'd miss them.
If I was going to move out of state, it'd likely be out of country as well. Europe, Asia, New Zealand, etc.

I visit Ohio regularly. I only live seventeen miles from the state border.

@Aya: Ah, a Nimitz class carrier. Those things are quite the feat of engineering compared to early carriers. That's so cool have served on active duty on an aircraft carrier.

Take me with you if you're going out of the country? I know we just met and all but forget that part.

@Kirin: Cedar Point ftw. Just because I know it's probably one of the places you probably have gone to a few times.

I never did coasters till CP but I at least know the threshold of what I can do. I don't strike em all out.

Or is there a reason why? Irrational fear? Or something else?

I hate them. They hurt my back and I'm scared of heights. I've been on the Corkscrew, and that inside one.
