I want a vodka and cranberry but I had to walk across the entire Dallas fort Worth airport to get to my gate. So no drink for Longcat. I'm grumpy and tired and hungry and wish I was drunk instead.

I had to do that at O'Hare in Chicago. I almost missed my flight.

Man, planes are scary. Thanks, airport security. Thanks, bad people.

I'll be flying in November. It's gonna be a looong flight. >.<

Make sure everything is charged and you have headphones. I had some guy talk to me the whole trip from Dallas to Corpus.

I've never flew in an airplane. >.<

I'm going to have to take extra charging stuff and whatnot. It's going to be like 12 hours of traveling.

The longest plane ride I've been on was in high school for our Europe trip.

I can't remember if we flew out of Detroit or Lansing, but we flew to the Czech Republic.
It was around a 10 hour flight. The way there was uneventful. I mostly slept / listened to music.

On the way home though I made friends with a kid from another school trip. Him and I talked a lot,
watched Happy Feet together and then fell asleep on each other. We traded #s but didn't stay in contact.

Airports are stressful and full of business people who are also stressful. Although most airports have charging stations available while you wait. So there's that.

I haven't flew in ages.

It's official. Red tide sucks. My breathing hurts just from walking across the parking lot... I'm gonna go down on the beach to look at dead fish. Hope I don't join them.

That's true, I didn't think about the charging ports! I'll have to remember to put my cable in my bag.

I did not become one of them, but it certainly is a depressing sight. Let me show you!!

Smells like dead fish. *shrug* I'm working on a Facebook post with my boss on an update for the red tide out here. Also putting together a gallery for imgur too. If you're interested I can post pictures of some of the stranger fish washing in.

I am so sorry for what you have been through.
I truly hope it doesn't take long to get back the results.
When my sister in-law died months later we still didn't know anything.
I don't know when her husband finally did get back the results.
She was young (only in her early 30's) & silly, she had one of those laughs that just made you want to laugh with her.
I feel the most for her son, he was only 3 when she died & she had been a stay at home mother.
She had some medical issues & was still recovering from her last surgery.
