Why would they be thick? Wouldn't ease of removal be important to be able to feed the baby?

sorta kinda? I guess so? i don't know when they first came out. But you see them on lingerie too for bedroom time. But those ones are just a little pocket typically, this is just it keeps the bra support on, but it pulls the boob out so that the baby can feed.

With bedroom it doesn't make sense... some of the bedroom clothing is just plain creepy and weird

hahah , i completely agree. I think the pocket bras for pleasure are just silly looking . though some of the costumes are just super cute and adorable and i kind of want them.... not even necessary for bedroom play. but the costumes are to darn cute.

True some are really cute... like a "lingerie kimono", it's absolutely adorable.
I'm romantically blind though so I'd never get anything for any other reason than to think "this is really cute"
