those power saving features are stupid. what's the use of turning it off to save battery if you can't use it anyways cause its going to die. can't you just wait for it to die to have it be "dead"

my lunch break is all day long... aka whenever i get the stinking time from the girls to eat. xD

And I'm talking about people of all genders coming into school in spaghetti straps, tank tops, swim shorts, short skirts, tube tops without being judged or restricted. Well I should mention that this was a school "for the gifted" or something along those lines. And the lack of dress code at this school didn't distract us from achieving high grades and test scores and getting accepted to the top colleges in the nation.

You can probably tell what my opinion on dress codes is, based on what I said above, haha

Would your aunt still be open to having you (and possibly your sister) live with her?

Sorry to hear about your mom and her roommate <3

But your dad dislikes her just because she is Christian? You should show him this link: https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witne...es-christians/ This is THE Jehovah's Witnesses website, which specifically says that Jehovah's Witnesses are Christian...

Oohh elegant neck and hands! That's wonderful
I've always had a dress code.
We couldn't even wear bandanas on our head. which was the stupidest rule.
Back then teachers didn't allow kids to wear tank tops including boys.
And now girls get sent home even when it's appropriate to where. WTF.

For some of the things I understood why we couldn't wear certain clothes.
But i hated that they literally had us stand up and if our shorts didn't go to our middle finger when our hands were at our sides, we had to go change.
Kinda why i always wore sort of long dresses or jeans.

Doubt it.
Plus they live in a new place and it's like...3 stories.
I don't want to live in that house with them. And there is no way in hell I am staying with her pot head daughter. Literally i mean pot head >__>
And I am not exactly happy with her so called angel of a daughter.

No I am not showing him that.
if I do he will explain it in detail and then he will get me to come to meetings to understand his religion. No way. I am not touching anything with his religion. Idc how upset he makes me, the minute i say something about his religion is the minute he starts telling me how to think.

Especially bras - 38Cs go fast. I prefer online shopping vs in store because I can double up on online promotional codes, lol

Aww, don't worry about that! You're not alone :P

I miss spots shaving my arms/legs too.
Kinda helps if you have a portable electronic shaver jic.

pfff, tall means you have more to show off limb wise.
There's a lot of things short peeps like me can't pull off that tall girls do well.

Are you still growing???
That would be hard to keep up with, especially since its a lot of $$$ to invest.

I stopped growing by 5-6th grade

well, it was more of my brother putting me down 24/7 vs classmates.

I dressed more like a boy vs girl. I wore boy t-shirts @hottopic and hoodies (mostly took them from my brother, which pissed him off). lmao He'd have to hide his clothes in his bedroom. With him, he'd always call me a ugly/retard/fat (even though I wasn't)/dyke (because I took his clothes and I liked those pixie-cuts) and told me off for not dressing like a girl or wearing make-up. He also liked to inform me that I never had friends when I did. And when I told him, he'd tell me they're just as fat/weird/retarded like I am when neither of us were.

The male classmates I had were mostly mad at how fair/light my skin is, the way I dressed and how high my voice is. I had some female classmates throw a hissy-fit about my chest being Cs with a average frame and the rumor floated around that I stuffed my bra. :/

So, I took one of my mothers V cut shirts and wore it to school the following Monday and bent over in front of the girls telling them my name and I don't stuff my bra. When I did finally started wearing girly-clothes it surprised my male classmates. One of them came up to me and hugged me saying: "You finally dress like a girl!"

But I started to become outspoken and treated them like the assholes they were and they left me alone. I never had any troubles with school fights or what-nots that was going on. Kinda a miracle cause the brutally honest thing can go 2 ways, lol

Before that, my moms mom always lifted up my shirt and told my mom I wasn't eating enough.
Might've been where my eating habits became dysfunctional, idk.

We just all experience hate in various ways.
Makes life so much fun!

aw, I think that's because you have a faster metabolism? My mom is like that too.

LOL taco - that is the best description of it.
as long as you wear deodorant 24/7, it prevents that smell

is secret too weak for you???
I used to like the lavender smell but now I love romantic rose <3

ahh, but boys are more fermented taco + stale pee.
If they don't brush their tongue, then they have cow-pooh breath. So taco + stale pee + cow-pooh is a deadly combo.

Yes. No flip-flops? That's a first. I would think it'd be only enforced because of driving. It took forever for my school to push a dress-code where girls cannot wear V cut shirts, shirt hem has to be at the waist, skirts have to be finger-tip length, no holes in pants and definitely no pants falling off butts (I've seen so many boxers/tighty white-ys...)

But tank-tops have always been a no-no in my school. No boy/girl can wear'em.
Underneath your clothes, yes. Just plain, then no.

It's the curvature of your shoulders that has sex appeal. The shape of a body is sexual attraction, even bare skin (depending from person-to-person). But to just deny girls from wearing'em is definitely one-sided.

pff, if its summer then screw long dresses def. xDD They have handkerchief looking long dresses now, though. They're more windy/thin and seem okay. I can't wear'em since they'd look like a parachute on me.

Short dresses are always a win! I really love getting baby-doll dresses <3 The ones that don't make you look pregnant, at least. There are some that give you a baby bump silhouette, which isn't flattering unless you are pregnant.

You're welcome!
I understand the frustration with skin blemishes.

Oh... that's a lovely bundle of joy wrapped up in a family bow. > w >;;
Every family has a dysfunctional bundle they wish they could replace.

amg... 7ft??? I've never met anyone that tall.
My sweetheart is 6ft 4in and I use him like a jungle gym XD *evil*

it wasn't a one time offer with your aunt, was it?
that would be really good for you to move away for your well being.
M i r o:
Sorry I forgot to reply so I am pinging you.

This is the confusing side about my body.
Because I am 5"8 my size isn't in the petites Nor the Tall women's section.
On Old navy's site petites are 5"4 and under. And tall is 5"9 and taller. So my size apparently isn't there at all .___.

I have an electric shaver but it only gets long hairs. Not the short hairs.
I have to use an electric shaver And a regular guy shaver.
And yet I always miss a spot >.> But Now I just shave every time I hop in the shower which is every two days.

the trouble of being tall is guys are usually shorter than me.
And I pretty much have to date someone who is at least 6" or taller.

I would assume I am still growing. It's hard to tell until my jeans are higher on my ankles.

My relatives always put me down.
And they still do and treat me or talk to me like I am stupid.

I've always had acne and they just said "You need to wash your face."
Hadn't thought of that. Not. I get cystic acne. So it's not easy to get rid of.

I dressed pretty unique and I still do.
But i still get compliments on my outfits. I am trying to take care more of my face and what not. I never wear makeup because for one it's expensive as heck.
And two I can't make my dad pay for it. It's kinda unfair.

I do have a fast metabolism. Though a few years back I got so fed up with people telling me i need to eat, yada yada and then that is when I started developing an eating disorder. I completely stopped eating. And I also became very depressed. so I did have a small eating disorder.

I don't use brands like secret, dove, etc because they have aluminum in their deo's which is bad for your body and can cause cancer. So I use a natural deo. It works yeah but if it's hot it almost has no affect sometimes.
I'm probably going to be one of those girls who literally has to shower every single day just to smell nice, wear perfume lotion etc.

Well back when I was in Junior high no one could drive. You had to either walk home, take the bus or have a relative drive you to school. But flip flops were very dangerous to wear especially in the crowded hallways.

Back then the dress code wasn't as bad as it is now.
But I am kinda glad in my GED class i can wear ANYTHING.
I wore a new dress I got but it was so cold >///<

My current bf is 6"2 I believe.
though he lives all the way in Virginia though I haven't heard from him in quite sometime.

And I can't move with my aunt now.
for now this is my plan. Suck it up till I get my license and A job.
When I get a job and have my license. I'll buy what i want with my free time
and go clothes shopping. But I wont let my dad see what i bought. And when I wear it i'll just go to the bathroom at work when i do work or if they have locker rooms to change and ta dah. Hence Fuu's evil plan. To dress how I want without getting caught.

I have been trying to find a foundation for my kind of acne. But every foundation is dry on me that i have found. So I don't really know what to do. I don't know if it's my facial wash or what. So it's like...nothing is working and I am stuck on what to do .__. I bought a primer cause people said if i buy one the foundation goes on smoothly. Yeah it didn't...

Fuu-Chan, you're back <3

Also Shadami, I forget if I told you I love love love your color scheme <3

Fuu-Chan, I have a vague recollection that I might have mentioned accutane to you. Was it to you? I remember telling someone about it, but I forget who. Anyway, I used to have pretty bad acne when I was younger, but it all went away thanks to accutane :D only thing is, it's a prescription drug, which I'm not sure you're willing/able to take (also, it probably doesn't fall under the all-natural categories)

I'm back from where?

And No you didn't tell me.
Honestly I've given up on the whole acne/makeup BS.
Obviously i can't cover up nor get rid of it so I just can't bother spending more money
and more things that aren't going to work.

People are going to stare at my acne regardless.

Accutane is a pill you have to take every day for a few months. I almost never get pimples anymore because of it. I still get blackheads because my pores are still a little big, but none of those gigantic red inflamed pus-filled whiteheads anymore! :D

It's by prescription because it's so strong. You'd have to go to your dermatologist for it. And your cholesterol levels can't be high, you can't get pregnant, et cetera while you're on it. And you might experience side effects. For me, it was extremely fragile skin. For my friend, she forgot words the first day she took it. Like, she forgot what a doughnut was called. And another person I talked to had her toenails fall off (but they grew back later).

It's basically the last thing you'd really have to spend money on. You should ask the dermatologist for a coupon. I think I only ended up paying $10 for each refill thanks to it.

And no, I'm not being paid to say any of that lol. I highly recommend it because it worked well for everyone I know who used it, including myself. And I wish my best friend could take it for their cystic acne too, but their cholesterol level is too high.

Let me know if you have any questions/comments/concerns.

I used to have really bad acne as a teenager and everyone told me,

"You eat too much junk". So I went vegetarian. My face was still acne ridden... Then they said, "You need to wash your face". So I washed it with everything out there, Clinique, Proactiv, Neutrogena, anything! I washed my face all the time and my face was still acne covered. Then they said, "Give up chocolate" and I was like, "Haha, jokes on you, I don't like chocolate!"

And then, when I turned about 16, the acne just stopped one day. So all of that shit people told me to do was bogus and the acne wasn't my fault, it was just hormones and awkward teen stuff. Because ever since then, unless I've eaten something really processed, I've never had an acne break out since.

That's great, Ava the Vampire <3 teenage hormones can really do that people, haha. I think in Fuu-Chan and my situations, we were adults and still getting bad acne! which is when extra strength prescription medication can be considered to do the trick.

And whaaaat I love chocolate!! haha

Salvete - Those symptoms don't really make it sound very good... but if we're going off of side effects maybe I should post these:
Quote:
Diminished night vision
Increased bone injuries due to thickened or weakened bones
Increased reaction to UV exposure
Red, cracked or sore lips
Nosebleeds
Changes in nails
Peeling skin
Unusual hair growth or loss
Bleeding or swollen gums
Fatigue
Voice changes
Headache
Slow healing of cuts or sores
Cold symptoms
Dry skin and eyes
Muscle aches
For acne those are some pretty terrifying symptoms... and I in no way think that is a risk worth taking in my opinion.
That's just a fraction of all the things that caused it to be recalled too.

The Wandering Poet, the original Accutane isn't available anymore but there are other forms of accutane (well, isotretinoin) that haven't been recalled. The form I took was Absorica.

It's up to Fuu-Chan whether or not she wants to explore this option with a medical professional of course ^_^ It's only by prescription, so it's not like she could get it without consulting a doctor first regardless.

Of the side effects you listed, I personally experienced cracked lips, dry skin, peeling skin, and slow healing of said skin peeling. For me, a short period of having those side effects was so worth never having cystic acne flare-ups ever again. And it's been almost three years since I completed the accutane regimen (which is usually three months but I opted to do it for four) ^_^

I see. You just specifically mentioned Accutane. There are definitely other similar drugs. But accutane can have some violent reactions.

Quick search tells me they're similar but different. Accutane doesn't list Absorbica and visa versa

Amane!!! *hugs* <3

The Wandering Poet, sorry for any confusion. A lot of doctors still refer to it as accutane because that's what it was originally, but isotretinoin is the accurate drug name. Absorica can have those side effects as well.

I had a friend whose aunt was involved with the, I believe, development of the original accutane :o didn't go into much detail though when he was telling me
