Today's artist of the day is Fort Minor. My favorite song by this group, which is led by Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park, is called Remember The Name https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDvr08sCPOc&index=123. I think my best friend from seventh grade showed this song to me, and then later on the anonymous person who shall not be named discovered it and reminded me that it existed. And now I have it saved on my playlist so that I can enjoy listening to it whenever I feel like it. I think it is super clever how the lyrics manage to add up very truthful percentages.

Today's artist of the day is Sean Kingston, the singer of Beautiful Girls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrTz5xjmso4&index=255. I just remember hearing this song on the radio when I was younger, and then later on, I googled some of the lyrics that I remembered, so that I could find the song. That was in high school or so.

Who you gonna call? :D I am loving this cover of the Ghostbusters theme song by Kurt Hugo Schneider, Sam Tsui, and Alyson Stoner! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdGw...st=WL&index=14 They even dressed up, and the choreography is on point, too!

Today's song of the day is called In the Still of the Night by Fred Parris and The Satins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBT3oDMCWpI&index=142. I first heard this song back in high school because the men's choir was performing this song. I really liked it, so I went on Youtube to search for it and it has been on my playlist ever since.

Today's song of the day is "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes in a Minor Key by Chase Holfelder!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzuebUoo_O4 I really love his series in which he takes major key songs and sings them in a minor key instead. It makes the songs sound really beautiful or angsty or emotional, depending on the song. It really resonates with me for some reason. I don't even know the original song, but his minor key version sounds soooo good <3
Today's song of the day is called His Daughter by Molly Kate Kestner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35say5G5cz8&index=366. It is an original song that absolutely touched my heart. I first heard it because it was being promoted by Youtube or something in one of those ads before the actual video. I was so intrigued by the singer's voice that I immediately looked up the full song. I think it is cool that this song is about love, but not in the romantic sense at all.

Today's song of the day is Livin' La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p47fEXGabaY&index=436. It is a mix of English and Spanish lyrics. This was of course before Ricky Martin came out as gay because you can see that he is pursuing a female in this music video. This song was super catchy and I can't remember exactly where I heard it from, but it was definitely in high school at the latest. I think maybe I heard it on the radio first. I also love the dance choreography they have in this music video.

Today's song of the day is Hips Don't Lie by Shakira featuring Wyclef Jean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUT5rEU6pqM&index=279. This is an oldie but a goodie. Like the song in my previous entry, the lyrics are also in both Spanish and English. I love how catchy this song is. But interestingly enough, there is also a message behind this song if you really listen to the lyrics. Just looking at the cover art for the CD reminds me of how old this song is, because back in the day there would be lots of CDs being advertised in the flyers and that is how a lot of us got our music. We would buy CDs from our favorite artists and if we wanted the song on our computer or on our portable music player, we would rip them from the CD. And we could also make our own playlists by burning songs into a CD.

I love this song of the day by Rixton called Me and My Broken Heart https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JJfJgyHYwU&index=372. I grew up hearing it being played on the radio but I didn't know who sang it or anything until just last year or a couple of years ago when one of my friends on facebook performed a cover of it. To be honest, her singing was flat. Her melody was correct but she was in the wrong key. But her video at least reminded me of this song and I was able to find it and add it to my playlist, yay
Today's artist of the day is Rob Thomas, who is the singer of Lonely No More https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7spBU4Yv8fE&index=232 I grew up listening to this song on the radio and was ecstatic when I found it on Youtube :D
I love this cute and whimsy love song by Rosanna Pansino called Perfect Together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnhH1XiDu0Q&index=396. Rosanna Pansino is a famous Youtube star who hosts the show Nerdy Nummies, where she cooks up, bakes up, or whips up, the cutest nerdy themed edible goodies. And she finally got to be the singer and star of her own music video that even included some foody puns in it! :D
