Maybe he is in so much resentful as he is jealous or envious of the fact that you did go Halfway Around the World to start over and he isn't?

Maybe. Both of us got married at about the same time, he got married about a month and a half before I did.

With the exception that his wife was already pregnant at the time.

They have two munchkins now.

I can understand that he didn't want to uproot everything with a kid on the way.

I think it's more the fact that I left mom and dad behind. He feels obliged to take care of them now.

I just find it hard to say me me me and then I go quiet and I just don't say anything about it and that makes it worse

expressing yourself, when you are hurt, is hard because it makes you more vulnerable. i totally understand that. its something you have to work at with someone you truely trust.
