I am seeking RP partners that are not only literate, but creative and descriptive. I tend to be fairly decent at responding within about a day. I prefer medieval RPs simply because there's no one-shot-kill, or rather, fewer of them. I enjoy adventure type RPs in a fantasy setting, but not the usual run-of-the-mill story where some dude is a knight and that's about it. There must be some substance. If you don't know what kind of story yet, that's fine; we can create it as we go. I just ask that you have some thoughts not only on the background of your character, but also where you want to take it. I don't enjoy a story that falls stale that much.

If you ever have questions OOC about my characters, feel free to let me know. With most of my stories, there is a large amount of background information on each character, but I don't pour it all ontop of you at once. It's up to your characters to discover as they go, and vice versa. Usually I write only from the present point of view, because that's where the characters are looking out from.

2. Separate in-character from OOC posts somehow.

5. Have a few cohesive characters. I didn't say flat characters, mind you, but your character needs to make sense and be reasonable, believable.

6. Post. If you are about to end something because you need to go, say something in an OOC message. Don't just roam off and leave me there sitting for like 40 minutes waiting for a response.

7. You may kill me off, but there needs to be a reason, and you need to tell me before you do that, please.

8. I ALMOST NEVER USE PRE-CREATED CHARACTERS (Not a fan of fanbased RPs usually). I prefer OC's.

Some thoughts on plots/scenes for example. It's not detailed because if I wanted to type it all out, that'd be the story, not a rough-idea. Who is CharacterA or CharacterB doesn't matter to me. It doesn't even need to go this way or that--these are just examples.

On Campus & Off
CharacterA just started school. He is the youngest of a rather large, wealthy family. Most of his siblings are awesome. Unfortunately for CharacterA, this results in being overshadowed and thus looked upon as a failure and a disgrace. CharacterA's family has thrown him into this school to hide him from sight and basically to forget him. His upbringing with the constant insane expectations from family and society, and his inability to match or exceed those expectations has left CharacterA rather shaky. He doesn't socialize well. Compared to others overall, he isn't badly off, but CharacterA sees through a carnival mirror basically. Financially unsound, CharacterA works at a somewhat shady bar/strip joint, and sees more and more of humanity and wretched stories. As a result, CharacterA finally decides that people in general, are bad.

CharacterB meets CharacterA in the bar or strip joint. CharacterB sometime along the line also notes that it's the same person in his class (dunno which one). CharacterB has issues x, y, z. CharacterA and CharacterB get along a while, but how things go is up to you.

A Little Medieval
CharacterA and CharacterB know each other from childhood. Fond memories. CharacterA and CharacterB are both trying to get through training for becoming (insert something here..like mage, head of ____, some kind of guard/knight?) and meet up. They go through different adventures together. <Very general because it's a little difficult to pick just one specific example.>

They might start as petty thieves, amidst whatever they were supposed to be learning. Eventually they turn into spies and assassins, or possibly expert thieves. Something more risky and weirder, which involves magic traps, more characters, etc.

Vampy
Usually, my characters are Lasombra. They do only one thing (to resist the temptation of making them all-powerful), and that is weave shadows and solidify them.

CharacterA is neither at the top nor the bottom of the food chain. A series of events slowly moves him a little higher, and he brings his friend, CharacterB, along with him. CharacterB is non-vampy, or perhaps vampy but of a different guild. CharacterB actually doesn't like CharacterA much. CharacterA is thus, often trying to charm CharacterB, or going out of his way to help CharacterB.

Other
A very long time ago, CharacterA saw CharacterB dance at a fair or festival. CharacterA finally realized CharacterB was male -rofl-, and was then very confused. CharacterA and CharacterB are in a land that is at war. Events turn out in a way that CharacterB and CharacterA work together. CharacterB dies saving CharacterA, or somehow as a side-effect of a poor mistake on CharacterA's part.

CharacterA is really saddened for a long time. CharacterA finds, after months of travel, a child that resembles CharacterB, and raises it. Later, CharacterA has a slight problem when CharacterB resurfaces, but as the enemy. The weird child CharacterA picked up is the actual center of the story--that child has something the whole silly world is fighting for. Key, or treasure, to something. CharacterA's screwed. -lol-

Guardian/Benevolent Being
CharacterA happens to have some sort of supernatural abilities. CharacterA watches over CharacterB, whom CharacterA either owes something to, or CharacterA created somehow (painted into existence, for example). Slowly CharacterA falls for CharacterB, and in doing so, loses something-maybe not immortality, but perhaps CharacterA doesn't fit in with the race he originally came from anymore. CharacterA then roams around somewhat more aimlessly than usual, and now has to deal with living in the real world, or CharacterB's world. CharacterB has not seen CharacterA prior this, and is freaked out when CharacterA starts to follow them around or starts to seek them for help.

Forget Me Not
CharacterA and CharacterB previously met. (Yeah, not descriptive, because you and I need to figure out a story you like also.) CharacterA or CharacterB dies. That character becomes a ghost, and for whatever reason is unable to leave. Both characters still continue, day in, day out, in a sort of existence that mirrors normal life..or maybe "normal" life is only a pale shadow of theirs. This is about a relationship that doesn't care about time or place, something about a love so strong, nothing else matters.

The challenge here, of course, is building a believable reasoning behind that, and explaining it well enough that it's a coherent story.

Pref. Dates: I can almost guarentee that I can make at least one post daily.. I might miss a day here or there due to schoolwork, and other plans, ect.. But I can generally get on once a day at least to post in RPS.

First, Chlarysa Maiyone.. She's generally an elf/vampy. Light purple skin, dark magenta eyes and hair.. Waist length on the hair. Tall, fairly wiry but very strong due to her vampiric and elven heritage, ect.
-Parents were killed by vampires when she wasn't given up as a small child.. She managed to stay with the elves, and was raised by her sensei-type-thing. Usually has a rapier.. It's her prized possession, and is competent in illusionary magics.

Pref. Dates: I'm on a lot lately (have no life lol) so most days are good for me though I do go to school so I have those limitations. I'll try to get on atleast once a day and if I'm not on for a while I'll let you know, definately/
Interest: I really like roleplays that play during older periods, lie greek or roman or even mayan or aztek periods. But the midieval or the victorian aged roleplays also do well with me. I could also do fanbased ones depending on how much I love the series, thoguh I will never play cannon characters. I could also settle with a fantasy setting in another world, thoguh I won;t do any modern roleplays since they just dont do well with me.
Other: First of all I woulds ay I'm Dutch of origin and only just moved to an english speaking country, meaning my english has improved a lot, but isn;t perfect. I know European history quite well, I know a lot of the Greek Myths (or roman since they're much alike [well the gods are atleast]) and i know a bit of the Egyptian gods and goddesses. I don't know anything of the history after around the 1900 (except for WW2 ofcoarse). I have almost no knowledge of american history other then the limited of the Natives and the English (Wounded Knee and such). I am a horserider so I know how to portay that and also I drazw manga-style. My megainations also close to never sleeps, which is a good thing fr both an artist and a roleplayer.
Characters: I's rather play a girl, though I would play a guy if have to (since I dont have much experience RPing a guy). I can't tell you right here what character i'll play because I'll have the story and thten emagine the character. The characters I've played so farhave been of a great variety. I've played the soft and shy one, but also the loudmouth outgoing type. I ecan also play a character who is evil and full of himself

Pref. Dates: Any day really I'm on a lot and I don't have a really strict schedual so I'm on randomly. But I am normally on during the week and a lot on the week ends. If that helps any.
Interest: I like fantisy RP's, romantic RP's, and vampire RP's. However I am quiet flexible when it comes to this. I haven't started one yet but I can once we talk more.
Other: I don't know much about world history. I've taken lots of U.S history though. I have an over active emagination and can RP any role given to me. I know a bit about a lot. I know a little about Pirates, the Renassance, fashion (clothes making), and writting stories. So if it came to it I could play a character going to be a fashion designer or a writter.
Characters: I'm flexible. I can play guy or girl. I like characters who aren't to soft spoken. Most my characters are kind but take control of the situation. I like playing the female but I'm real good with guy characters too.
What You Want From Me: I don't care. I like to let other people choose so they are more comfertable. I'd prefer that you played a male incases of love stories. But I know how many times people can be stuck with that so its truly up to you.

Other: I prefer quality over quantity, because I don't think it's right to pressure someone into giving loads of paragraphs that may only be filled with nonsensical musings that I can't really respond to without crossing the OC/IC knowledge border.

What You Want From Me: Someone who doesn't get bored easily, tells me if they have a problem and doesn't mind occasioanlly meeting up on aim or something to discuss the plot.
