Hime stopped dancing around Shan and stared at her, crestfallen. "Oh...nooo! HE'S TAKEN OVER YOUR MIIIIIIND!" she fell to her knees. "Dark side-1 Light side-0" she cluched her heart to her chest. "Also~ You better believe he's gonna flirt with you to no en-" A stong but girly look hand was placed over her mouth

'And you call me dramatic' he said in his head as threw his hand over Hime's rather large mouth. "Soo.." he cocked his head to face Shan and gave her one of his famous cocky grins "You think I'm good looking, eh?" He could feel his overconfidence in his heart begin to rise.

"The dark side?" Shan asked, confused. As far as she could see, they were both equally good, even if they didn't get along too smoothly. "U-um, I do think you're good-looking," said Shan to Takumi, realizing that perhaps she might have said more than she should have, or at least, more than was decent at the moment.

Hime sighed and sat down on the ground picking at the grass. She looked over at Shan indifferently "Ayep, I am the good side, I fight for light and love and peace. While Girly Mc Taku Face over there is the bad side and fights for...like....mud...and gross stuff. Are you prepared to fight for mud and gross stuff?" she eyed Shan. Maybe she was overdramatic but dangnabbit she had a reason! Another thing she wondered to herself, what happened to the thread owner? Could she have too crossed over the dark side?

Takumi childishly smiled at his new friend and grasped her hand. "I have decided to make you my wife! Shan! Will you take this poor soul and care for him with love and passion?!" he snickered at this, usually when he made a new friend, mostly girls, when he did it with guys he'd usually get punched in the face, he would declare undying love for them in a public place for all to see. Either getting another laugh from them, a cling from them (Which usually ended up with a restraining order) or a flat out run away from Taku. He was anxious to see what this shy girl's reaction would be.

"EH?" Shan could not have stopped herself from sounding surprised even if she wanted to. The question was so direct and out of the blue that she could not even bring herself to answer. She felt light-headed as her blood rushed all too quickly through her body. Was it her, or was the world spinning abnormally?

Takumi blinked at her, it had never taken a girl that long to either punch him in the face or give him a big smile and just laugh with him. He was beginning to wonder if this girl was going to stab him, he sweat dropped. "Umm..."

"I-I'm sorry," Shan replied at last. "B-but, I'm taken, you see. So, there's really no way we could... uh..." Shan was one of those people that sometimes didn't understand how serious (or not) the situation actually was. She hardly ever went out at all, and so she lacked experience with much of anything.

Takumi looked at the girl awkwardly, sure he could calm her down but he was in a rather frisky mood and would it really hurt to toy with her just a bit more? He was already going to get pain for this from his sister, why not milk it for all it was worth? "No! How is it so? The love of my life...taken....taken by some other? I...I don't think I can go on. Ah! My heart...it is...dead." he fell over on his back and stuck his tongue out like the old cartoons he had seen once with his sister when they were younger. Hopefully this would get even a tiny rise out of her..

Hime watched the struggle of words Shan was having with her idiotic brother. Sure it was a bit funny to watch but she could somehow feel the confusion the poor girl was having. Takumi would always perform a stunt like that with someone he'd taken a liking to, even if that liking had to do with friendship. It was always hard to see when he brother had chosen a new friend or a partner, usually with someone more than a friend she'd notice Takumi's cocky exterior would change to something quieter and mellow and a lot more observant. she sighed at her brother and buried her face into her hands "Takumi! You're goin' to give the poor girl a heart attack...or is it heart burn." she pondered "I'm pretty sure it has to go with the heart so yea!" No, Hime was not the smartest tool in the shed.

Shan pondered what the difference between a heart attack and heart burn might be. Whichever one she was feeling right now didn't seem like either of those. Everything was in her head. "I-I'm sorry!" she said to Takumi, as sincerely as she could. The world really was spinning. She could feel herself sway. "Uh..."

He opened one eye and looked at her. "Not really the reaction I wanted." He really didn't want his little joke to go any worse so quickly he got up and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Not to worry, my pet! My heart has been healed and I no longer feel the anger in my heart toward your other! May you have a wonderful life together, yeh?" He dusted his boxers off and sighed. "If only the prices in the shops were as pretty as you." He sadly patted his small coin purse.

"Thank you, mister," Shan said, grateful that she hadn't caused anyone any actual harm. "I hope you find what you need," she added, noticing his slightly unhappy face. Then she pondered something. " 'Pet'? Like a cat?"

"Ehh? Mister? That makes me feel tad bit old, I am young, you know! Unless 19 is the new old. Anyway! Please, call me Takumi or Taku. I'd rather you call Taku~ It's sweet and short and to the point." He looked at her oddly "Oh? Is that not used in your Country's language? I think of it as term of endearment, actually. Sure I've been shipped off to a sunnier place but I do think I've got some English gentleman in me." He smiled.

"Oh.. well... um.. It's just that I've never heard it used that way before. People usually just call me by my name. They're not the type to call me 'pet'." She thought for a moment. The word "mister" did seem rather old for him. "You wish me to call you 'Taku', yes?"

Momo patted the boy on the head and smiled "See hes just a cute cuddly fox." the fox began to nuggle up to the boy. momo turned around to see the commotion of 2 sibblings and another girl. she got up and looked at the boy "I will be back soon. you may continue to pet him." she smiled and trotted off. "Hello?" Momo entered the conversation at a bad time but was wondering what all the yelling about. "My name is momo chan. Welcome to Menew...." she noticed the girl named Hime she saw before ran off and it was just the boy and girl. "What are your names?" Momo tried to cheer them up by smiling lots.

Rion laughed a lot because the fox kept tickling him, "Eek, it's molesting me!" Rion said as he giggled. Rion kissed the fox's nose.

"Um..my name is Shan," said Shan shyly. "It's nice to meet you, miss Momo," she added with a bow. "Your hat is quite nice." She observed. It was elegant, but not obnoxious in any way.

Taku stared at her for a moment. "You are quite odd but for safety precautions I'll call you by your name. I'd really rather not have a fat lip from my sister again." Though the girl was quite adorable with her over analyzing the situation it was beginning to creep him out a bit, tonight he would make sure to sleep with garlic of some sort. He shifted his gaze to an odd sight, a girl with some sort of animal. A cute one at that and another gentleman. He smiled at them and gave them a sailor's salute. "Ello, ello~ I'm Takumi, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm also the purple haired gnomes older brother." He snorted at that comment.

"Gnome?" Shan looked puzzled. She really should get out more. People probably thought she was really strange; she didn't understand a few of the things they said, and she always felt like she was saying the wrong thing herself. Even saying her name felt a bit odd to her, as she only ever said it around other people.

Takumi stared at the girl for a long time, usually people got his joke about his sister right away. "Well, ermm, she's quite short and...well. She sorta...moves around like...a gn-gnome and.." He really dreaded explaining things, it took the fun out of his jokes and it made him seem like an idiot. "Huwaaaah~ I don't know." He tugged on his hair, he was beginning to feel uneasy and nervous about this whole situation, maybe the girl was going to stab him.

"Oh, you don't have to explain it!" Shan said suddenly. "I just thought it was somewhat unusual." She looked at him, worried. "Is something wrong? You're pulling on your hair rather hard. It looks painful."

Takumi snapped out of his daze and looked at the girl. "...Do you like ducks?" Maybe sidetracking his thoughts of being stabbed with an innocent question like that would kill his nerves. "I personally adore ducks! Except when they're attacking you near the pond. It's happened to me lots of times, I'm not really sure why....hmm..." He went back off into his daze.

Hime stared at her idiot of a brother and the girl strangely. "Ducks?" she asked. Why on Earth were they talking about ducks? What really had she missed when she left them only a few hours ago. She took her place standing next to her brother and waved to everyone, including Momo, she had yet to talk with her and was hoping she would be as nice as everyone else she had met here.

"Oh, yes. They're quite adorable," Shan agreed, but paused when he mentioned that they had attacked him. She'd never been attacked by any before, but the way she imagined it, it seemed painful. "I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes..."
