I have a great need for some new hair personally. While the current hairstyles are nice, they got old and I feel we're due for a makeover in the hair department. I'm tired of seeing all these long hairstyles that are so like each other and not having more options for shorter, quirkier hairstyles.

I spoke with Eroy tonight, and she told me that the developers know that we need new hair but didn't know what to do or something. I could have gotten that wrong or whatever, but I have a few suggestions that I think would be fun additions to the site!

I think this would be a good idea if more of the users would post the hairstyles that they want so that the devs have more to work with. I know I have more to come once I find them.

I'd like to see some basics, myself. Just your standard ponytail or something would be nice.

Just because new hair is coming doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to suggest other styles.

Honestly, I feel all the styles you linked should be unisex, because I've seen both women and men with those styles. I love them to death, and love even more that you suggested them.

Honestly, as much as I hate to admit it, there were a few hairstyles on Gaia that I wish there were similar styles here on Menewsha. I know, shameful, right?

True, but it seems more logical to me to wait and see what we're getting before we start asking for more. Suggestions never hurt though.

But I agree with Cricket, at least styles one and two should be unisex. Three looks more female.

Seiki's first style looks like male 8 to me, which I use a lot myself :yes:

The new hair tab isn't actually for "new" hair, but "different" hair. You'll see when it decides to stop being a pain in the ass. If we add anything to that at the moment, it glues your hair onto your head, which is a bit of a nuisance >.<

But new styles will come! I want to see some funkier styles for the guys, what they currently have are mainly either a bit dorky or just plain weird.

but yeah, feel free to make suggestions, I like looking at pretty pictures :D

and don't forget that whether a style is male or female really doesn't matter now, as we can use the glitch and have whichever we want to wear.

Mm. True, I love that glitch very much, and the fact that it won't be fixed and that we don't get in trouble for playing with it is one of the huge reasons why I love Menewsha so much! <3

Seiki, may I please post a few example hairstyles in your thread as well? I don't want to make a repeat thread, but I'd like your permission to add suggestions of my own here, since it is your thread.

I'd like to suggest many of the Gaian hairstyles, though not to an exact t. I'd like to see Menewsha's twist on them. I'm not sure how to show examples of those styles without making a ton of naked dream avatars on tektek and linking them...

I think I'll go digging through Google images for male hairstyles, though. I'd like to have a few hairstyles that I haven't even seen on other avatar websites.

I'd kind of like to eventually be able to alter hair in multiple layers and colors like on Eternal Nox, but I don't think that's ever going to happen here on Menewsha. But that's okay.

And suddenly while looking for male hair styles on Google images, I've been bombarded with dozens of pornographic images. That's disgusting, I really don't care how other men wear their pubic hair, I don't want to see that shit on Google!

The horrible thing about it is that safe search is on because I'm sick of pornographic images popping up. >.<

Male hairstyles that aren't pornographic:
1 - I know it's horrible to say this, but that hairstyle makes him look like a monkey. A freaking adorable monkey.

I really like the medium length, layered and slightly wavy style that was posted somewhere up there. Something with a nice depth would be really pretty.

We do need some new hairstyles. I love ALL the ones posted here! I'm not a big fan of a choppy short cut. However, I would like to see some long, regular ponytail with either short, windswept sidebangs or with a full short bang that covers the forehead.
