I've become surprisingly patient for getting to read Breaking Dawn. XD
I'm also kind of undecided about whether to get The Host.. >w>;

Cherry does that sigh indicate that you're not enjoying Great Expectations? O.o

Not yet.
I mean... it's interesting. It's just not grabbing me. And so far, the effort to read it hasn't really paid off yet. *shrug* It's just very not what I'm in the mood for, I suppose.
I'm considering starting 1984 or The Bell Jar and coming back to Great Expectations later, when I'm in more of a mood for it.
I figure Orwell will either build me up to be able to better appreciate Dickens, or will just totally exhaust me and make me run for some young adult fiction. XD

I suppose it is kind of a hard book to get into, I think the only reason I was grabbed by it was because (besides having to read it for my advance English class in 9th) I love books from the Victorian era.

I don't have a strong aversion to them. I'm not like some people who aren't interested in them at all, or can't understand them. I am and can. I just usually prefer something more modern. *shrug*
But not like, super easy fluff. (aside from Twilight) I like mature reads.

Smeller - I haven't heard of it. What is it about?

And hey, page 100. Awesome.
Its ok. -hugs-
I'm over it by now. :|
Although, I did take it eerily similar to how Bella took it. Less strong, I suppose. But maybe I wasn't as in love as I thought I was. Heh. Who knows anymore? I tend to mostly block those days out and focus on now and the future. I feel better that way :P

Oh, you didn't spoil it. I've been so into this book that I've been reading constantly. I know he's back. ^^
I went from page 74 yesterday afternoon to page 473 now. O.o
I'm not even sure how I'm reading this fast...I was at my grandma's today, and she took a nap, and I read like 100 pages during the hour that she was taking the nap. o.O

Twilight has that power - You just read and read and read and then you realize "how the hell did I DO that?"
I read all 754 pages of Breaking Dawn in three days. It would have been less if I hadn't paced myself as much as I did. Much less.
Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse were all read in a little under 26 hours each.

Yea, Breaking Dawn sucked me in for a straight 12 hour read. I got it at 4pm in the afternoon and finished it at 4am that morning. xD
I just had to see what would happen.
I'm more than likely going to go reread the entire saga soon and enjoy it all together. :)

Well, I got Breaking Dawn, but I'm unable to read it until I get my summer reading and another book done first . . . ticks me off, it does.

I finished New Moon at some point early this morning when I should have been in bed. xD

I cried three times during it, cherry. The worst was the part where Edward and Bella er...made up? Well, when they were discussing everything in her room and she didn't really believe him. I was sobbing. :cry:

I kinda blame that on my hormones this weekend. :illgetu:

Like, this morning, my 14-year-old brother said my fanfiction stories were good and I got all teary-eyed and hugged him and started babbling about what a great compliment that was and how much I loved him. T___T;

Kearin - ... o_o You read fast.

Alaunt - Aww. D:

Kitami - The only time I cried in it the first time was when Jake told Bella they couldn't be friends anymore and she just stood there for a few minutes.
I didn't cry because of Edward because I knew he was coming back. But I didn't know what would happen with Jake. And it was just... so sad. D: Cause she lost Edward AND THEN JAKE. D:
I think I got teary when Edward left the second time around.
And I totally know what you mean about Bella thinking she's dreaming and stuff. So sad. D: But I didn't cry over that for one reason or another.

OH!

Four times! I cried at the Jake part too! That was very depressing, I agree.
More towards and at the end, he was being a total asshole though. :talk2hand:

But I cried when Alice came back, because I was totally scared she was going to get tricked and it was going to be Victoria, and I was so relieved that it was Alice and I was so happy to see her because I love Alice, that I started crying. xDD (Again, I think this may have been a hormonal thing.) :rofl:

PMS perhaps? XD

And if you think Jake is an asshole in New Moon, just wait for Eclipse. o_o
But then you love him again in Breaking Dawn, don't worry.

Oh shit.
Well I still have Edward to idolize, yes? Or is he a meanie too? T_T
If he is, just don't tell me. :cry:
I'm leaving to get the book as we speak. xD

Mm, nope, Edward is very, very nice in Eclipse. Too nice, sometimes.
He's VERY sorry for what he did in New Moon, so he's constantly trying to make up for that.

Oh thank God. I SO did not want to have to hate Edward. :cry:

I have Eclipse, but I am too depressed and mentally exhausted at the moment to read it.
I have had a very bad day. :/
Shortly after that last post, it all started going down hill.

I'm just trying to focus on the event right now. .__.

And nope, you won't hate Edward. There are a few times where you want to punch Jacob, like I said, but you just can't hate Jacob for too long.

keke...I think me and kitkat were either killing jacob or beating him up last night in one of either mine or her threads. :lol:
I was mad for how he was treating Bella at the end of new moon and I think kitkatbar just hates him. period. xD

Oh, by the way, I did put you on my friendlist, didn't I? o.o

Yeah, there's a lot of Jacob-haters. I've never hated him, actually. Gotten annoyed with, but never hated.
I don't see how someone could HATE Jacob. He's like.... he's like... a.... big puppy. o_o Jokes aside. He really is. XD

And yes, you did.

Alright, I updated my list on Page 90. I finished Step on a crack by James Patterson and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Now to start from the beginning of Patterson's 'Alex Cross' series with Along came a spider. I cannot believe that I'm on book 27 for the year already.

Good job, Korrye! I'm on...on...what the hell am I on now, anyway? O.o
-goes to check- :rofl:

kitkat:: CONGRATULATIONS!! :'D

cherry:: Today was better. (:
Guess what? >.> <.< My hair is a wonderful copper color now. x'D My grandma dyed it this morning.

Jacob. Grr. I'm indecisive at the moment as to whether I hate him or not. That certain COMMENT he made at Bella...in Eclipse...about how he'd rather her be dead than a vampire...D< I could have KILLED HIM.
He did apologize, but that's immaterial, as he should have never opened his moronic doggy mouth in the first place. -continues ranting-

I just finished Breaking dawn, I loved it. -add's to list-

`Kitami:: Yeah, you'll hate Jake in Eclipse some but (in my opinion at least) if you read Breaking Dawn Afterwords you'll start to love him, just not in the beginning of the book. I'm a huge Jacob Fan, just not a fan of Bella and him.

Jacob is...I liked Jacob. Not Bella and Jacob together. O.o But I liked Jacob.
Now if I personally got to replace Bella in the story and had to pick between Edward and Jake, I'd pick Edward, no contest. :heart:

xD But anyway, I'm trying to really pace myself with Eclipse, because I have no idea when I'll be getting Breaking Dawn. D;
If I was reading it as fast as I had the others, I could probably finish it today, or tomorrow at the latest, but I'm really forcing myself to stop because I've ran out of money and besides, the stupid bookstore is STILL out of copies. :cry:
