Hello I couldent find a thread about The Birthday Massacre (TBM) of before known as Imagica so I desisted to make my own.

Info

TBM first Originated as Imagica in London Ontario. The Original group was formed with Chibi as Vocalist, Rainbow as guitar and programing and J Aslan on Bass. Dank played on key board and O.E. joined on live drums. There first released a 7 song limited edition demo was released.

Yes I would have to agree I love them : D. I went to MSI just see them even though they were the opening band. Chibi Held my hand wile she was singing I was crying i was so happy

Haha, I wanted to go see them with MSI too, but MSI fans are kinda crazy imo, so I decided against it and all. xDD

And wow, that's awesome! o_o How are their live shows?

Yeah they like to smash you against the wall. After TBM i was removed from the crowd and watched from the back. I got my ribs smashed D :

Don't get me wrong, I'm probably a bigger MSI fan than I am of TBM, but with music as crazy as MSI's...you can only imagine how the fans are. o 3o

Well, I saw them at Projekt and things seemed okay.
Then again, I was way in back because the chick I was with didn't want to go in further. e_e

Definitely one of my favourites!
I have seen them 3 times, and the last time I got the chance to go backstage ^.^
So now I have a huge signed poster hanging in my room, and I got pictures of me and Chibi ^.^

Lucky. I never got to go to one of their concerts lol

I love Queen of Hearts! And Horrorshow is somewhat special, because Chibi dedicated it to me that time I had the change to meet her backstage

My favorites are To Die For and Falling Down, also Happy Birthday. They just have so many good songs. e.e

I love them! I only heard two of their songs, but I really would love to get their CD. Is the vocalist's real name Chibi? o_O

I doubt it, everyone in there has nicknames eg. Rainbow, Owen, Michael Falcore etcetc.

i actually first heard of them when my bro's friend told me about them when i told her of my love fer MSI (Mindless Self Indulgence). I didn't actually listen to them until after I broke up with my boyfriend in the beginning of October, and I found their music really helpful, in that listening to it made me feel so much better. I think it's the combination of the synth and Chibi's voice, she's so unlike anything that I have ever heard that I can't compare her to anyone, which is rare for bands these day, usually you can compare them to another easily. A week after I listened to them on Grooveshark (a really great website that allows you to listen to songs for free, but only listen) I ordered their CDs Nothing and Nowhere, Violet, and Walking With Strangers. For some reason when I listen to "Falling Down" and "Walking With Strangers" I think of Alice in Wonderland. I don't know why. But anyway, I digress. The Birthday Massacre is a great band, and I can only wish to see them live.

No, her name is Sarah.

I've known about this band for a while, but I kept forgeting to look them up until a month ago ^^;

I have to say, I loved what I heard! My favorite songs were "Blue" and "Looking Glass". (The videos for them as well.)

The singer is really adorable too, haha.

I love how their music videos really make you think. Like, if you were to only watch the video without the music, you'd sit there for hours going "wtf was all that about?" and sometimes even with the music i'm perplexed. I noticed they didn't have an official video for "Happy Birthday", and I was kinda upset about that. I would love to see how TBM would envision that song as a video. But I saw a fanvid, in black and white, and it really played the song out well. I was even inspired by the song to draw a picture. I dont' think I can post it or anything, considering it's kinda gorey, but it's on my facebook, and my deviantart [my name is the same fer DA]. If you want you can check it out there. :]

I love The Birthday Massacre. Their music is so pretty, yet dark. Not to mention, I might have a tiiiny crush on Chibi..:)
