fiarra - Just as long as you don't chew on the bars of your cage like my hamster does.
That's SO LOUD. D: And he does it at FIVE IN THE MORNING.
Always five in the morning. Somewhere in the five o' clock hour. I've had to move his cage out of my room every night so I can actually get a good night's sleep.

I don't think I would chew on the bars unless I didn't have enough cotton balls for my nest.. or enough cake to nibble on.

Now teach my hamster to do the same. D:
He's adorable, but he's such an ass sometimes.

But he's funny, too.
Like, he has an excercise wheel. Which he has recently repurposed into a second food dish, and he won't run in it anymore.
He had a food dish right by his wheel. I noticed that he had big pieces of food in his wheel, so I put them in his dish so he could run in his wheel. He'd take the pieces back out of the dish and put them back in the wheel. I'd take the food and put it in the dish. He'd put it back in the wheel. I'd put it in the dish. He'd take it out, walk casually to the corner, then RUN to the wheel and quickly drop it there. XD So I gave up and let him stash it in his wheel.
The next day, the food is still there, but now it's got bedding on top of it to "hide" it. XD My hamster is so weird.

Yeah. XD
He used to take up a ton of food up to the second level of his cage (where his nest is). But then it would get mixed in with poop and pee, and all that food would be wasted. So I put a food dish up there. He still moves the food to weird places, but he does it less, so that's good.
Cherry is not happy when she has to throw away hamster food.

Ah yes, it's not cool having to throw away the food because then you just feel like you're wasting money.

Yeah, exactly. And since I have basically no income and have to pay for the food myself... >.<
But I've applied for a job. HOPEfully I'll get it.

I don't know if I will, though. I don't look very good on paper. D:
I don't go to school, I don't have my GED, I have no prior work experience, and I'm not very fond of crowds. >.<
I can be cheerful to customers, but if there's a throng of them, and/or they're being bitchy, Cherry wants to choke a bitch.
Cherry WONT choke a bitch, but she won't be so pleasant. >.<

Yeah. I just think a lot of people start at places like McDonalds, and that would degrade me to work there. And probably give me stomach aches.
I don't want to say that I want to work somewhere "classier," because Target isn't exactly the epitome of class, but it's much nicer. I like Target. They have nice things.

I dunno cuz I've never had to work retail. I always babysat, and then I worked my school's IT dept. You might have good timing though because schools are starting, so summer workers are leaving.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. To squeeze into that gap.
But so far, no one's contacted me. D:

if it's been a little bit, you should call places and bug them about your application. sometimes that's the only way to do it.

Well, if they're not interested, they won't contact me. So they may have totally rejected my application, in which case calling wouldn't do any good. And if not, I imagine that they'd probably tell me that it was being reviewed and I would be contacted if necessary.

And so few business even advertise the fact that they're hiring, which makes the job hunt more difficult. I mean, White Castle is hiring, but... UGH. I'd rather work at McDonalds than there. White Castle doesn't even PRETEND to have good food. And the smell is just disgusting.

But I feel like I'm dominating this conversation. So uhm... what are your favorite bands/artists?

xD I have poor experience in job hunting. The couple times I applied for retail, no one called me back. So I gave up. My school job I got by going to the supervisor's office with a resume.

Haha I'm always terribly intimidated by the "what music do you like" question cuz my boyfriend says my music taste meter is broken. I tend to like a lot of stuff in a variety of genres. Although one my favorite bands is Nightwish. And I've been listening to a lot of 10 Years lately. v-v But I also listen to a lot of anime soundtracks and some occassional cheesy pop music.

Well, from what I gather of what you do, you probably get paid better than a retail job, too! ^^

Nah, I won't make fun of your tastes. I'm terribly critical of music, but I don't make fun of people for what they like.
Well... I do. But not to my actual friends. XD
I haven't heard of 10 Years. What sort of style do they have?

x_x Yes I get paid more than retail. My job would not be worth the effort if I didnt.

Hehe no worries about the music. My boyfriend makes fun of my music taste all the time and says it all sounds like Breaking Benjamin, even though he loves listening to moe emo-y bands himself.

That's the 10 Years song I am currently seriously liking. I'm weird with music, I tend to like specific songs over whole groups. I'll still try and collect everything by an artist, but I'll really only truely like a smaller selection of their stuff.
