I personally like piercings on people, I've had my ears pierced since I was a baby. Only thing stopping me from other piercings is the needles :sweat:

I do agree that society treats people with lots of piercings differently like an old lady crossing the street from the guy with piercings all over his face, she thinks he might be a little on the wild side and might attempt to hurt her.

Of course that's all bull...:sarcasm:, but that's what people think.

Personally, I love piercings, just not in large quantities. I don't mind when other people poke dozens of piercings into their flesh, but that just isn't for me. I only went with an industrial in my right ear (it's still healing so it bleeds whenever my hair gets caught in it, thus making me want to cut my hair really short for a while), a ring in the middle of my lower lip, and I currently have my obliques pierced, but those will only last a couple of more months before, pop! out they come.

Sad thing is, yes, piercing are considered unprofessional in most areas of work, which is understandable to some degree since piercings and tattoos are ways of expressing individuality and not all types of working environments cannot handle a lot of individualism during hours (like some office jobs). Personally, I hope they become accept at all work places soon. As for those who dislike piercings, I have nothing against them, unless they are the type that get in my face about. I had one chick try and rip my lip ring out, which mad me furious.

I love them... on other people. I think it adds character and lets people add a little flare to their bodies. Although I only have my ears pierced. D=

I'd only get piercings on my ears or belly button. Anywhere else is kind of... not as appealing to me.

I like piercings. Some people they look good on though.. and some they don't. I had a eyebrow piercing but had to take it out due to the fact it was a request by my mother for her wedding. After the wedding and everything was done when I went to put it back in .. the hole had closed up. I'll probably will get one again in the future.. but as of right now... not at the moment. I also want to get lip piercings (snake bites). For now im just working on what tats id like to get and what im doing to add on to the one i have now.

I have 18 piercings myself, with plans for 4 more. I have 4 in each ear lobe, 3 cartilage piercings, one tragus, one helix, nose ring, tongue ring, one nipple ring, and two sternum microdermals. I plan on getting the other nipple repierced, my navel repierced, another microdermal underneath the other two, and my hood pierced. I love piercings and I see them as an art form, an adornation, and a way to express myself. I do see the differences in how people with piercings get treated though. They are not allowed in many professions, and it can be harder to get certain jobs. People also tend to assume that I will sleep with anyone because I like piercings that are in more sexual places. I just like them, even if very few people will see them, it's worth it to me, you know.

Personally depending on where the piercings are, I think they can be sexy. Sometimes they do look kind of "Ehh. Why would one do that?"
I wouldn't get any myself, because I'm afraid of needles, though not the actual pain. If I did though, it'd probably be snake bites. I think those are awesome.
I don't really think people with piercings (a lot of them) are treated differently, really. No one even looks at them oddly, at least around here. Maybe it's different in other places?

i don't have any puercing myself but i do admire people who do have them as long as they are not overdone to the point where they just look plane gross orthey actually have to suit piercings.

those who do have piercings even if they do or don't suit you i admire you getting them done in the first place.

piercings are good depending on if they look good on that person or if they have to many. i admire piercings and find them attractive on some people but not everyone can have them.

On the topic of piercings - I've had 10 and I wanted more but couldn't get them because of my job.

I had 5 in my ears - the first pair was 8 gauge, then some 12 gauges, and a 14 gauge in my cartilage.

I had my tongue done but it didn't want to heal so I took it out after 2 1/2 weeks, belly was done, and then there were 3 in . . .private areas.

At this point i still have 4 in my ears and 2 below the belt - all the others got taken out due to injury or being bored with them. I think I had the belly one for 10 years before I finally took it out :P

My finace also had a lot of piercings- pretty sure he had 15. A lot of his have been taken out at this point too . .they get boring eventually.

My ears are pierced 3 times in each lobe and im considering having some more xD
I also have my belly button pierced at the top but want it pierced twice more to make a little triangle.
I used to have my eyebrow pierced but I left it out for two nights and when I went to put it back in it had healed up D: Now I have a weird little ditch each side of my eyebrow. Its made me not want any face piercings anymore ^^;

I did have Snakebites, but the Piercing place I went too for one of them screwed it up. So I had to take one of them out, 'cause it looked ridiculous. I'm getting it repierced next month though. I still have one though. =)

Then I have an Industrial, 1 lobe, and then 4 cartilage.

I reallllllly, realllllllly want my Bridge pierced though. Like, super bad. Or maybe a Septum.

I don't have any piercings, no. And since I never got any, I can't really regret it. XD

I do find them attractive, though. Depending where they are on the body though.

No, I've never gotten a piercing. I might just get my ears pierced, someday...I just never really got around to it and didn't see the appeal. Is it worth it? I mean, isn't just one or two piercings in your ears good enough? I never really got why people would have a whole lot of them all over, especially on the tongue. (They look like Amazon tribe members, no offense, it's just weird to me)

(IRL Me) - I've got my tongue pierced. I still don't have a new barbell, yet. I got it pierced on the 26th of July. So far I've chipped a molar. Didn't hurt, and doesn't cause any pain, currently.

I'm still waiting to get my new barbell - a late Birthday gift from a friend of mine, since my IRL birthday was on the 26th of August.

I want a septum piercing and a monroe.

I don't have any piercings, though.

I have 2 in each ear for now, I'd like to get 3rd holes in my lobes and 1 in my cartilage. I'll probably do them next time I go to the mall.

I want my belly button done too and maybe a tiny stud in my nose, that I'm not sure about yet.

I have one in each ear.
