A lot of people have that problem, about feeling the cold and such.
I have it too so does my mum.
But I guess with a broken ankle it's tad worse I suppose.

I do to in my hands and wrists, they're sensitive to the cold, but I don't really notice it anymore because they hurt dully most of the time cause I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both of my hands.

The broken ankle, I don't know why exactly it makes it worse (The doctor would rather talk to my mom than me. I think he was used to dealing with children rather than teenagers. It was annoying. I'm almost an adult myself. ><) for all I know it could have something to do with the break itself, or the metal that I now have in my ankle. o.o -shrugs-
