I should have watched. I was too tired by the time he gave his speech so I was already in bed.

And watched Obama's later.
I don't think McCain is a bad person, I just don't think he was right for the country.
I was actually supporting him in the first place and then switched sides.
The reason I was for him in the first place though was because like everyone I knew was supporting either Obama for the single reason that he was a democrat OR Hilary Clinton JUST because she was a woman and I was actually a little disgusted. No one was even taking what they stood for into account. :o

But then some of the things he started saying, I wasn't agreeing with and...and then Sarah Palin...
XD I'm all for women's rights and everything, but Sarah Palin is just....omg I don't even wanna get started. XD
Then when I watched the democratic convention though I knew who I'd be voting for if I was old enough. :yes:

You should see if Obama's speech is on YouTube or something. Its really good.

My state voted for Obama. Cali is very democratic tho. XD

Not in my county, but the one below us and beside us, and we had a tornado watch AND a severe thunderstorm warning so like, it could've happened at any time. @_@
I've seen them in the sky, not on the ground, but like rotating up in the sky, in person. You know, funnel clouds. Its pretty scary. They happen here a lot. >>;

Yes, you're right... All depending on the wind currents that tornado could have blown anywhere, which is super scary... I'm glad that it stayed away from you and your hometown.

Thats not good... You need somewhere safe you can go...
Otherwise you'll just have to get in the car and just drive as quickly as you can away from the tornado... which is still pretty dangerous, but safer than remaining in the house when a tornado strikes.

Well, basically, my family has lived here for generations pretty much and you NEVER want to do that.
Even if the tornado goes right through your neighborhood, you're better off in your living room in front of the picture window than you would be in a car.

But what I'm saying is, cars get tossed around like haystacks. ><
And tornadoes can be in one place one second, go up, and be in another place the next second. So you can be in front of it, and suddenly, you're driving INTO it. ><
Houses are totally totally much safer.
Unless its a trailer. You are uh...pretty much screwed if there's a tornado coming for you if you're in a trailer. ><
We get in the bathroom. O.o Its like, the closest thing to an interior room we have.

Yeah, trailers are really unsafe in that scenario. ;/ I don't like trailers... I don't think I'd ever live in one unless thats all I could afford.

The hallway & doorway is the safest place in a earthquake, so maybe the same for a tornado... That is unless it rips off your roof. x___________x
